So far so good. Since he had come to this place, he had discovered that he had only one roommate. That was how he liked it. The space in his own room was bigger because he had yet to share it with anyone and he used the space to his advantage. In the far corner of the room, he had his easel with the back facing the door so that no one could see what it was he was working on if they walked in.

His closet was filled with neatly hanging clothes, but it was also filled with white shapes. Some could be recognized as blank canvases, but others were only identifiable as squares or rectangles covered in sheets. Not that too many went into his closet with permission, but it was considered as odd behavior by his therapist and was put down in his file. Just like everything else he did that had never been questioned before he came here. Like covering his windows with sheets. Since when had that become odd.

Jayden wasn't even sure why or how he was here. This was a school for crazy people wasn't it? So why was he here? He was perfectly fine. He did nothing abnormal. Nothing different from what he usually did. When he asked; which was quite often, no one told him why so he was forced to come up with his own conclusions.

This was punishment from his mother for him being late for his curfew. That was the only justifiable explanation and the one he had convinced himself was true. His mother was going to force him to stay in this hole until she was sure that his behavior was acceptable. He would just have to prove himself and not get into any trouble and the only way to do that was to avoid the other problem students here. As long as he stayed in his room, that should be easy. He hoped anyway.
