where do they all belong

Felix wasn’t in his dorm. He never was. He hated it in there, his roommates hated him in there, and he’d rather be somewhere where a monster belonged. So as it was, Felix was asleep in the abandoned warehouse. He usually slept there as a punishment for being the way he was. It was the only place he was fit to live. Either there, or the basement. The basement, however, has seen too many bad things for Felix to sleep properly, and he wasn’t about to go down there again.

On beds fashioned out of broken boxes, which were more comfortable than the actual beds, shockingly, and a blanket he stole from the guards, he slept. He always had the gauze unwrapped when he was asleep, but he’d keep it covered… his face. Felix had turned the warehouse into something of a sanctuary, a safe haven for monsters like him to stay. Many of his greatest friends stayed here… of course, they all lived in his head, and he could only see them through his bad eye when the gauze was off. They didn’t have names… only bodies.

His giant fortress of boxes helped him up to the second story of the warehouse, where he kept his belongings. Nothing too special, he had them all packed and organized, all in 3 boxes. This was his home, and he could do whatever he wanted here. He was happiest here, even if other people wanted to think otherwise. Felix didn’t like them.

He shifted in his sleep, only to be awoken by someone coming in. He jumped, cursing in German slightly as he looked around and quickly covered up the burnt half of his face with the gauze. He hated to be woken up. Shit.

Mayumi stood in front of the wear house. She looked at the building, it was large and run down. It was perfect, large and dark. She stepped inside as silently as she could, she dint want to bother any rodents or animals sleeping inside. She shoved her iPod into her pocket, then looked at her phone. She used the device as sort of a flashlight, she was a klutz and she dint want to be found dead in here because she tripped over something. She walked around burnt pieces of things and then when she felt it was safe she put her phone away and walked with just feeling. She accidentally kicked a piece of metal across the floor and heard it hit something.

She jumped slightly and hoped that whatever she had hit...Well she hoped it wouldn't attack her. She came to a nice place and sat down. She was in all black but someone with good eyesight might have spotted her in the darkness. Or you could just look at the light as she pulled out her iPod and her cell phone to listen to her music and wait for a call or text that she knew would never come. She looked around the empty wear house and then heard a faint rustling sound. She became silent and very still, hoping that whatever it was would just go away and not harm her.

She started to shake and began to imagine the terrible things that lived here, Hobos, wild cats, wild dog, spiders, some crazy murderer, a rapist, or a clown! She hated clowns, why one would be n here she had no idea but still. She dint want to be raped or murdered, and she dint want to die from a spider bite. She stood up slowly, then bent over and picked up a piece of wood. She threw it into the dark to try and scare away whatever it was. She defiantly dint want to be ripped or torn apart for a wild animals to eat. She tried to calm herself down but she was ready to scream or run if it was needed.

"AU! Fuck!" Well that was a lovely little wake up call. Felix quickly scrambled to his feet, holding onto his head. His thin legs were shaking, as was the rest of his body. FUCK. He clutched his head, hoping to whatever deity out there that he wasn’t bleeding. He stepped out of the darkness, whimpering slightly in pain. That. Really. Hurt.

So he stood there, a tiny stream of blood running down his face, and the gauze beginning to come off; he never did get to finish tightening it… and now it showed. It was obvious that something was wrong with his face, some of the burn scars were showing as the cloth fell. He stood there, looking at the girl that sat there before he sighed and moved to turn the lights on. Someone sure didn’t think of that. He glowered at her somewhat before sighing and sitting down.

”A ‘hello’ vould have vorked better dan dat.” His eye was narrow, only some of his pupil could be seen. There were times when Felix hated his pigment disorder; it made him look like a monster even if his burned cheek was covered. He just was a monster, god dammit. He heaved another sigh before finally extending a slim hand. ”I’m Felix. De light svitch is over dere next time you come in” He made a motion to the switch box, turning himself to hide his bad side. He didn’t want her to see it, at least not yet.. not ever. Crazy boy.

”Vy are you in here? To find de elusive monster of Stanfield?” He sighed and held his knees, glancing up at her gadgets. He didn’t have either of those, and he didn’t mind. He was happy with his guitar and the few people that came in here that he would eventually talk to.

She sat on the dirty floor once again to talk to him. "I...Uh...No." She stammered. "I just came in here to be alone for a little bit...I'm so sorry I dint know anyone was here....Did I hit you? She leaned closer to see if she had. She saw the blood and began to talk once more. "I dint mean to honest! Im so sorry! I was just scared is all..." She took his thin hand in her extremely pale hand. She shook it gently afraid of hurting him. "So do you go to the pl- to Stanfield? Why are you in here, don't you have a dorm room?" She had stopped shaking and was just talking.

She knew she talked to damn much. So she shut her mouth and just looked at him with her piercing green eyes. Why is he in here? All alone at that...I wonder whats wrong with his face. I do hope hes ok. She thought to herself. She looked at him then around in the dark. She hadn't known their was a light switch, and even if she had she woulden't have turned it on. She dint like light she liked the dark. She slept under the covers to block out all light. When her roommates weren't in she closed the blinds and kept the lights off. In the dark people couldn't see the scars, the visible marks of her abuse. In the dark no one could see her and judge her. She wondered, Is that why hes in here? To be in the dark and away from other people...? She looked at her feet and then wrapped her hands around her knees. She waited for him to speak. And whats with the monster talk...?
