* / HISTORY[/b]
Calix was born to Christos and Korene Stefanos on February sixteenth and they couldn’t have been happier. He was born into a good greek family solid and members of their community in every way possible. He spent the first five years of his life a normal child, then began confusing and worrying them with his random panic attacks and the times he’d fall asleep and not be able to be woken for more than a minute without any real cause. They couldn’t figure out why their son was all of a sudden ‘broken’ when he’d been fine his other years. That was only the beginning they learned after going to the doctors and getting those two diagnoses. It only got worse when he started school and the fights about leaving in the morning began to be a regular thing, that’s when the agoraphobia was added to his list after two years of those fights. His parents were frustrated and confused that their son could be so screwed up when he’d lived a good life in their opinion and decided after another few years that on his tenth birthday they just couldn’t stand it anymore. Taking him to the hospital after a long fight and the boy huddled up under the chair rather than in it. They sat there for an hour before deciding to ‘get something to drink’ and leaving their son behind without a second look. He sat huddled there until found by a nurse and convinced to come out, she couldn’t get him to talk though and even when the police came he still wouldn’t talk.
Eventually they found his parents, though the only thing he’d told the police about himself after huddling into the corner of a cell was that they didn’t want him and he was too much of a problem. Repeating what he’d heard them say. He got put into the system properly by his parents after that, they couldn’t handle having a son that was so much work it seemed and were all too happy to take the officers suggestion of putting him into an orphanage or up for adoption. He never got adopted and the foster-home he was put into wasn’t one of the good ones where you live like a normal child and wait for someone to take you home permanently. His ‘big brother’ and ‘big sister’ thought of Calix as a play toy and brought on even more problems for the boy. He was used sexually by both, taught to be the submissive pet he is today by the pair and learning the exhibitionism from them through the years he lived with the family who never passed him on to a new one because they learned to deal with his habits and problems for the most part and didn’t want to just kick him out. The intermittent explosive disorder being a side-effect of his life thus far was what got his foster-parents attention since it was new and clear to them when he’d randomly freak out at them. They tried to help him, sticking him into therapy with a psychiatrist who they thought could help him. It didn’t help though through those sessions he was able to explore the love of art he’d kept secret to himself for most of his life. He was encouraged to create and vent through his art by the Dr and used it as a way to help though really it was more for his own enjoyment than to help anything at all.
When his full range of problems was made clear to the family they looked into alternate living for the boy and found the asylum. Before he went he had another of his rage blackouts and outted his ‘older siblings’ for what they’d been doing in a fit of throwing things and yelling. He didn’t find out what happened to them but likes to secretly hope it wasn’t pretty while knowing they made him what he is in their own way. He doesn’t know whether to thank the people who’ve screwed him up for “raising” him or to hate them all for making him so fucked up…but he figures in time he’ll find an answer.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]
