Craig Jace looked out the window, seeing the clouds roll in slowly. Well, they were slow at first. But before he knew it, they were over the asylum. Dark and creepy, purple and gray skies, just what he could hope for. Summer storms were always the worst and the news even said this one would be bad. They also said it'd be a long one. He was already slightly shaking, but he stayed by the window. Once the clouds were right above them it only took 5 minutes for it to start to drizzle. Once it started to get just slightly harder, he was gone, over to the couch.
The common room was empty as too many of them were probably out fucking or dancing in the rain. With the lights off, the clock still clearly showed 9:58pm. The rain got harder, tapping like little rocks being thrown at a window. It wasn't taking anytime to reach Craig. Oh no, how could it? It was as if the sky was laughing at him, knowing his fear. The second the first flash had shown through the room, CJ jumped, completely shaking. His phobia was bad. Best part was, it was worsening every second of the day that went by. To calm himself he automatically took out a blade, only getting a line of bloody art on his hand before thunder was heard and the blade fell to the floor.
Craig tried to breathe evenly, now kicking off his shoes and bringing his legs up on the couch. He now sat in fetal position upward only crossing his ankles. The second lightening and he started to panic, taking off his glasses and just throwing them on the floor beside the blade.Wrapping his arms around his legs and forehead against his knees, he muttered small things such as "Craig, stay calm," to himself.
The lights off didn't help the reflection of lightening and the rain made the silence a bit unbearable. His mind was filled with every possible way lightening could hit the asylum. With how weak this stupid place was, it would probably crumble within a matter of seconds. Or, knowing his luck, he'd be hit by the lightening, no one else.
The digital clock beeped once to show 10:30pm but the beep was cut short. This had given Craig the warning of no electricity. This meant that no matter the urge to turn on the light, even if he could barely move, he wouldn't be able to. This night was definitely not one of his favorites. "God dammit," he whispered, voice a bit shaky. But that wasn't from the rest of his body shaking. Instead, tears started to form in his eyes, but he wouldn't let that show. Ever. So he tried best to keep frozen in his position, gripping his jeans tightly. But being alone, especially in such a situation, was never new to him.

Jordyn didn't too much mind the weather. Most times she found herself playing in the rain. Either way though she wasn't surprised at all when she was caught out in the weather. Running for cover, she found her way to the commons room. When she walked in the door, she let it slam behind her as she shook herself off. She wasn't too wet, the worst of the rain started once she was inside so she was thankful for that. At first she didn't realize anyone was in the commons room at the time but when she glanced around the room, she realized she wasn't the only occupant.
Even though it was a little dark in the room she could still see. Perched on the couch on the other side of the room was Craig Jace. Obviously a bit frightened by the storm but apparently frightened wasn't the right word for it. Jordyn had heard of people with extreme phobia's to thunderstorms but she had never actually met one. Now, here she was face to face with the guy she most times wished didn't exist. However, today, in the state he was in, she felt kinda sorry for him. Great, just great. Reaching over, she flipped the switch to make the lights cut on. Being in the dark wasn't her thing. But it didn't work. Oh hell, no lights. Don't freak, Jordyn.
It didn't take too long for Jordyn to notice the bloody blade lying on the floor. Was he crazy enough to hurt himself? Well, she was so why shouldn't he be? Oh well. Standing there, she wasn't sure if she should go over to him or stay where she was. Sighing a little as she watched him, a look of worry crossed her features and she crossed the room to sit on the end of the couch where he was. Glancing down at the blade on the floor, she shook her head, "Craig, did you cut yourself?" As she asked the question, she pulled on his arm, yanking it away from him.
Sighing as a drop of blood fell to fall on the front of the dress she was wearing, she looked up at him but she didn't say anything. It was obvious that she was worried but she didn't speak. Standing to her feet, she snatched on the bottom of her dress before she'd accomplished what she'd wanted. Sitting back down again, she wrapped it around his hand and then balled it into a fist again. In her mind she kept hoping and praying that he didn't turn all mean to her but she kinda figured it would happen. It was the one thing Craig seemed to be extremely good at.
Shaking her head, she tried to move herself a little closer to him but she hesitated for a moment. She didn't wanna make him mad and she knew above all else whta was coming. He was sure to yell at her the next chance he got. Which would probably be within the next 5 minutes. Why on Earth did he have to be so cute? And even though she wanted to hate him, she really couldn't. Even when he was being the biggest jerk to her. Sighing a little, she looked up at him, waiting on his reaction to her being here with him now. tags;; craig jace words;; enough outfit;; click me

The door slam was only a mere thought of more thunder. He didn't want to risk leaving his position one bit. He gulped as he could hear someone in the room with him. He wasn't sure who but he wasn't going to get up. Not now. Especially not right now. He would look even weaker and more vulnerable.
He heard the attempt at the switch. Whoever was in here, had they noticed him? Or were they still oblivious to such a situation he was in? He'd rather the person treat him as if he didn't exist, or leave the room. Leaving the room was his favorite option. But, of course, he wouldn't get that option. Of course, the sound of the footsteps got closer. The last thing he needed right now was some psychopathic murderer coming to see what was wrong. He just simply wanted peace. Why couldn't they just leave?
The voice was familiar. It only took a second to figure out whose it was. How could he not recognize it? She was the very last person he wanted to see him like this. He didn't even respond to the question. The hand art was something he had always done to try and calm himself down. He didn't even get through with anything except that bleeding line. But, it didn't matter whether he responded or not because she didn't give him the chance. As she asked his arm was pulled away from him, him not immediately lifting his head.
He watched her, wrapping his hand up with her own dress. Was this some kind of joke? Did she feel the need to make it up to him because of his shirt? He was silent for a moment until he finally got control of what was going on. The dress fell out of his hand as he opened it up, about ready to smack her across the face with the same hand. But he resisted, giving her a dirty look. Still, you could see the fear of outside in his eyes, no matter the expression.
"What the hell do you think you're doing? Get out, now. As in, get the fuck out of here RIGHT. NOW." He didn't need anyone but himself. Sure, he hadn't physically pushed her away yet but he didn't have the strength to. "No one in their right of mind wants you here-" the thunder roared again and he started shaking even more, closing his eyes momentarily and then putting his clean hand through his hair. He had done the one thing he hated the most as well. Lie. And in all truth, he didn't want her to leave, especially after that last huge echo of thunder. In all reality of his mind, he wanted her as close to him as possible right now.
He was going to blame this want on simple fear.
His cut hand closed itself up, now wrapping his arm back around his legs. He wouldn't put his head back down though. He wanted her to leave. He had to look awful right now with those stupid watery eyes of his. He hated himself right now. With the cut hand, no matter how badly he wanted to just hold onto his jeans and stay frozen until the storm ended, he slowly raised his arm and pointed towards the door with his index finger. "Go and stop caring already," he whispered, really wanting to get out of this embarrassment. But at least he knew he was slightly stable from the energy he had to yell at her. Jordyn, please, just leave..

Jordyn wasn't at all surprised of his reaction to her being there with him. Why hadn't she had enough sense to just leave him alone? Probably because she knew better than anyone that he wanted her there. But again, he was too scared to admit it. Shaking her head, she looked up at him, "No, I'm not leaving you alone.." Leaning over, she picked up the blade in her hand. It had been the first time she'd been able to hold something that could harm her. Taking it, she rested the blade against her wrist, resisting the urge to want to cut herself.
Looking up at him, she sighed again, "I want to help. Just let me help.." She sighed a little, the blade of the knife still rested against her wrist. How badly she wanted to cut herself but this wasn't the best time for that. Craig wasn't in the best of shape right now and her wanting to cut herself wouldn't help that situation at all. Why couldn't he just get over himself? And why couldn't she drop the blade? As she sat there it was still resting against her wrist. Just do it, Jordyn. Cut yourself. Gripping the blade with her hand, she watched as her knuckles turned different shades of red and white.
Opening her hand, she dropped the blade slowly, shaking her head. "I'm not leaving.. and I'll never stop caring.." Looking up at him again, she pleaded with him to let her stay. She wanted to be there for him and he was making it hard for her. Not that she really minded so much. The fact of the matter was that him hurting her with words everytime they met was slightly amusing to Jordyn. It was obvious to her at this point that he did care about her and he had also lied again. "Stop it! Just stop it! I know thats a lie. You know thats a lie so just stop."
The girl was getting very much frustrated with him by now and she knew it wasn't really the best time in the world to be yelling at him but she didn't care too much. If he could be a dick to her in the shape he was in then she could be a bitch to him. "Why don't you just admit it already? You want me here.. you're glad I showed up. And you know it." Crossing her arms, she looked at him, not so much in the same way that she had earlier. She looked just as downright mean as he did.
The only problem with that was the fact that she could still see the fear in his eyes. No matter his espression, the terror was still very evident in his eyes. Closing her eyes slowly, she took a deep breath, "Craig, if you can honestly tell me that you want me to leave and actually mean it, I'll leave because I know its what you really want but right now I don't think you want me to leave." Opening her eyes again, she focused her eyes on him again. The mean look on her face had vanished and now she looked as if she were about to cry.
Please, just tell me that I can stay. Just let me hear those words, that's all I want. "Please." She pleaded with him one last time before she moved closer to him, lifting her hand slowly, letting her fingers dance across his cheek. Pulling her hand back, she hesitated just slightly before she cupped his cheek with her hand. Rubbing her thumb across his cheek slowly, she smiled a little, "I don't want to leave you alone right now, Craig." The fact that her voice broke a couple times told him just how much she didn't want to leave him. The girl cared way too much about him. Way too much for her, or his, own good.

So she was a cutter freak. Craig seemed to learn something new everyday. His arm slowly fell onto the couch as he watched her with the blade. That was dangerous of her. She didn't know what was in his blood stream. She could give herself something unwanted...luckily, his blood was clean. Though, out of all the times, she had to try and do that? Right now when he couldn't concentrate very well? With his current fear he was almost begging for suicide just to get through this. Luckily, he was never one for actual suicidal thoughts.
He just shut up and stared at her, not really fighting back at the moment. Why did she have to care about him? Craig isn't, wasn't, and never will be anything special! He just wanted to be alone yet, didn't want to be. Inside, she was doing exactly what he wanted her to do. Simply not leaving. But outside, he knew the reality. He knew it was impossible for anyone to actually care. Just like all 21 "mothers," they pretended to care and then got rid of him. He was just waiting for Jordyn to abandon him. That would be soon, right?
Or not. The mean look was kinda cute on her. There was no plan to admit anything. Everything stayed locked up inside, key at this point was MIA. At least, even though the constant rough rain drops continued like drums being pounded on, extremely deep down, he was smiling. Smiling at the fact she had read him correctly. It was a first for him, being read correctly. Knowing his luck it'd be painful later on. Until then though, he'd have to deal with his own resistance.
"...I don't think you want me to leave."
His eyes widened oh so ever slightly at that line, now gripping his jeans even harder than before, if it was possible. He would have spoken at that point but he couldn't. Not with the emotion on her face. His covered in irritation and mostly fear, hers covered in worry and sadness. A situation he never imagined would happen. And he was screwed when she moved closer to him. In this case, he never wanted to change his position so badly. Of course, something locked up and resisted, over powering the will to leave himself.
When that next slash of thunder rolled in, he was still. Completely still. Staring at Jordyn, he had to figure out what move to make next. To urge her to disappear out of this room or better, his life. But the gentle touch wasn't helping that thought process. Which meant the fog had to vanish out of his mind. It took him a minute but he slowly and surely put his good hand over hers. He wanted to keep it there just so he could keep the feeling of being cared for. Too bad he couldn't. He was gentle for only a slight moment before roughly grabbing her hand and throwing it away from him. He looked her in the eyes, trying to be as clear about this as possible.
"Go and stop caring already," he repeated to her, eyes still defiant to the emotion in his voice. She truly was a moron, thinking she could get so close without a consequence. Taking both his arms, with all of the little strength he had within him, he pushed her away with both hands. He didn't care how rough or how smoothly he had pushed her. It was her own fault. "It doesn't make a difference what you say or do. I want to be alone. That's how I've always been and always will be." He wrapped both arms around his legs again, placing his forehead against his knees. If he was going to try and make her leave, he didn't want to see her get up and walk out the door. This time was different from when they first met. This time he wanted to hear her walk out, not stay. But the battle in his head kept contradicting everything. The next flash and yet again, he gripped his jeans tightly, now thinking of his last line. Now a tear finally sliding down Craig's cheek. Apparently she was stronger in holding back.

Dammit. So close and yet so fucking far at the same time. Why couldn't he just admit it outloud. She could tell that he was having a mental fight with himself over it all. And she still didn't believe for a moment that he wanted her to leave. Now, though, she was certain he knew she was a freak. The whole blade thing had told him that. But, it wasn't like her arms, legs and everywhere else wasn't covered with scars and scabs from her cutting herself over the years. Oh well, maybe he'd just never noticed it before.
It was obvious that she shouldn't care about him. She didn't want to care about him but she did and she couldn't change that as easily as he seemed to think she could. It wasn't like she still believed that he wanted her to leave. Craig was just fighting with his emotions over her and she didn't like it. She really wondered what had him fighting her so much. What had happened in his past to make him believe that she shouldn't care about him? Whatever it was, it wasn't something he could easily ignore and change. She just hoped that in time she could convince him that she'd always care and she'd never leave him. Nothing on this Earth would ever make her leave him.
The flash of lightening surprised Jordyn and she gasped just slightly, shaking her head afterward. Normally she payed very little attention to the storm but with Craig here, he was putting her through so many emotions that she didn't think she had. He was putting her more on edge by the minute. When she'd placed her hand on his cheek and he covered her hand with his later, she smiled a little but the smile quickly faded when he gripped her hand to toss it away from him. The sigh that left her lips a little later showed off just how annoyed she was getting with him and that annoyane just grew with the next move he made.
Taking both his hands, he pushed her away from him with enough strentgh to make her fall back a little. Looking up at him, this look of complete and utter shock crossed her face. He'd actually pushed her away from him. She couldn't believe it but yet at the same time, she could. It didn't take very long for it to piss her off and she stood to her feet. Standing there for a while, she looked down at him. He had went back to his original position as he was when she had first arrived in the commons room. Any other time she wouldn't have minded being pushed around so much. And in truth, it wasn't like it was that bad. It just reminded her of her mom's boyfriends. He had made her feel so bad that she would compare him to one of those.. men.
At first she seriously considered walking out the door, avoiding him for the rest of her life but that thought didn't seem appealing to Jordyn at all. What do I do now? Do I really leave him alone? God knows I don't want to but its obvious now that he doesn't want me here. It wasn't too long before she realized she was pissed off at him. Turning herself she stood in front of him, glaring down at him, "I hate you.. and I.. never ever... want to see you again." She stared at him, trying to stop the tears from falling from her eyes but it was no use.
He had struck a very serious nerve with her and she didn't like him. The fact that it didn't even seem to phase him pissed her off even more and before she knew it she was hitting him. It was like all those years of emotions, of hating her mom's many boyfriends, her mom and her dad killing herself came out in the one instance and she just couldn't stop herself from hitting him. It was almost as if she were watching herself from somewhere else and all she could do was watch and hope that he didn't react in a bad way and hit her back.

More tears came down as silence covered the air. The pushing her wasn't anything bad to him. With his anger, his abusive side was barely known to him. Had this side come from his own mother? Jordyn wasn't the only one who was reminded of their past. But no matter what happens to him, he deserved it. Just like the hand cutting, he deserved it.. Jordyn, though. She didn't deserve to be pushed like that. Too bad it was just a bit too late when he realized that. But, he'd get over it. And he figured she would too. It couldn't have been that bad of a push. Not like she broke anything or was bleeding from it.
He stopped crying when he realized that he had heard her get up. But the problem was, had she walked away yet? The fact that it sounded as if she was up had to mean that she was finally listening. Which only made him want to yell at her. Why couldn't she continue to ignore him? Why couldn't she stay longer? He wanted her touch, but in nonsexual ways. No, damn it! He had fucked things up, as usual. He felt like he was good at that. too good for his own good. He wanted to jump up, tell her to wait. Tell her to not leave him. To stay, to not listen to him. To apologize for pushing her. But that fantasy was never going to be reality. And the type of touch he got from her wasn't what he was expecting.
It was just quiet when those words stabbed him like winters ocean water. They were the words the outside of him wanted to hear. But the inside was screaming. Screaming like never before. If she never wanted to see him again, he'd stay away. As far away from her as possible. She was a reason he never allowed himself to get close to anyone. This was the reason for not wanting people to care for him and for him not to care for them in return. But some how, this situation was totally different. With the way he already cared for her, it was again too late. He screwed up more than he thought he had only a moment ago.
He let her hits strike him, the position slowly and finally starting to leave him. He deserved this. This was his punishment besides the storm for today. But, the only person he might actually care for around here, hitting him? Just like his mother? No, he wouldn't let her be compared to his mother. She was better than that. Way better than thought. If he had compared the two before, the thoughts were now crossed out of his mind. This was definitely one of those times he was dying for a drink. But not tonight. Especially not tonight. Tonight, he realized that all this anger from her, it seemed like she needed to vent. Something told him not to stop her immediately. It just clicked to him that he should let her do this, whether it was right or wrong. Not because it was "his punishment." Not something as selfish as that seemed. But, he couldn't let this last for too long.
Craig Jace stood up after a minute, grabbing both her arms. His tears had stopped at this point. The only intentional thing was to stop her from hitting him. Her venting was done and if she wanted to vent more, she'd have to find another way. If she couldn't...then the only choice he was giving himself was to let her use whatever method she wanted, no matter what it was. Within this one whole quick motion, he was extremely close to her, leaning down only slightly, his lips about an inch apart from hers.

Jordyn had compltely lost her mind now, it was obvious. She couldn't quite understand why she had hit him like she had, or why she had said what she had. Its not like she meant it and she hoped that he knew that but it wasn't likely that he did. He'd think negative about it, that she actually meant it. She didn't want to say that but it seemed as if he was wanting her to say it. But then again, another part of him seemed as if that was the last thing he wanted to hear. Craig Jace was so hot and cold with her that it drove her nuts, more nuts than she already was.
Craig's reaction to her hitting him hadn't been what she had expected either. In all honesty, she half expected him to hit her back, or to at least push her away from him again, ordering her to leave. That, however, wasn't what he did. After a while he stood to his feet, grabbing her arms to stop her. It hadn't really occured to her what would happen if he were to do the one thing that she wanted, the one thing that she didn't expect but he had. Surprising the heck out of Jordyn, she kept her eyes off of his. The las thing she needed was to see whatever look he was giving her at the time.
Closing her eyes after a while, she thought about pulling out of his grip but she didn't. He was atually, in his own strange little way, being nice to her and she wasn't going to let that pass by so easily. When she opened her eyes again, he was leaning into her, his lips were only a few inches from hers and she really didn't know what to think, or do for that matter. Slowly, she pulled one of her arms out of his grip, lifting it to ran a hand through his hair slowly. "I'm sorry.." she stated, a little out of breath. "I didn't mean what I said and I didn't mean to hit you.."
Gah, she sounded so pathetic. it was insane how much she liked him, how much she cared about him. Why on Earth was this happening to her? And of all people, why Craig? Fighting the urge to want to kiss him again, she adverted her eyes away from him, "Don't make me leave. I want to be here for you... I care a lot about you and I just want to help.." She trailed off, keeping her eyes off of him. Why was he doing this to her?
The urge to kiss him continued to grow and she finally got to where she couldn't fight it anymore. Removing her hand from his hair, she placed it on his cheek again. Finally, she closed the distance between the two and kissed him ever so lightly on the lips. Pulling away from him after only a few seconds, she worked her other hand out of his grip. Backing away from him, she let her eyes rest on him as she waited on his reaction to that.

He stayed still, just listening to her. He wanted to speak but he found it best to keep quiet. With how close they were, he was extremely tempted. He wasn't sure if it was just in the moment or if he felt a different way about her. But he did know that being this close to her, while lightening flashed, seemed to calm him down. Not completely but there was a definite decrease in the level of fear for his phobia. He wanted to let this temptation die but at this point, he wouldn't. That's what he had done before and now it was time to go more with what he felt comfortable with.
She pulled one arm away. Why not the other as well, he wasn't sure. He let his arm fall, just staring into her eyes. He wasn't going to look away. Truth time was his favorite, in all honesty. He could have really just rejected her, then moved away, gone back to his position. He could have just let her stop by herself. But that didn't happen. He let her hit him long enough to vent and now he was going to make absolute sure she was calm. Now, he could care less for what he did. And in an odd way, the way her hand ran through his hair felt good to him. Weird attraction but it worked.
He didn't want to reply to the apology. He just wanted to listen to her, watching her reactions. Just simply stand there and not say a word, making sure she was done with her little explosion. He did notice how her eyes kept looking everywhere but him. What was it that was going on in her mind? What were thoughts about right here, right now? Was she thinking of him as a creeper, with how unintentionally close he was to her? But she was the one who didn't pull back all the way. Not that he minded. He probably wouldn't be able to comprehend why she cared for him. Ever. But this next part he could very clearly comprehend.
When her hand touched his cheek again, he knew something was coming. And when the gentle touch of her lips met his, that spark of fear disappeared for only an instant. And that instant made the temptation set in like fire in the woods. Though it was small and only lasted quickly, he liked the fact he forgot his surroundings for a slight moment. The bad part was the pulling away. But pulling away meant nothing. Plus, he had to check and see if what had just happened actually made him forget. So, instead, he went forward, cupping both of his hands on her cheeks, fingers curling a bit into her hair. "Now, what you did, that was considered cheating," he whispered, kissing her on the lips. And he wasn't pulling back as quickly as she did. He held it but for only so long. She wasn't getting away that easily.
When he finally pulled back a little, that meant no longer touching her, not backing up. The distance didn't need to change (Unless she was uncomfortable). He was comfortable being this close to her. And his excuse for doing that had worked. He was calm within that moment, which meant he'd realize the storm was still there within that next flash or yelling of thunder. But for right now, he was calmer than before. "..and now we're even," he said in a low voice, scratching the back of his head. The other emotion he forgot was nervousness. Expression didn't show it but ever since he was younger, he always tended to mess with the hair in the back of his head or at least scratch at it. It was the purpose of distracting the other into believing he was perfectly fine with what happened. Though he didn't want to go much further, but just a little bit would satisfy him. Or even a hug would work. He wasn't expecting much out of her. He already felt a bit wrong by kissing her back in such a small, kinda slow way. Luckily she kissed first.

It took Jordyn a few minutes to remember exactly what she had done. Her mind wasn't exactly working as it should at this very moment and it took everything she had to even remember where exactly she was. She was slightly worried about the fact that he hadn't commented to anything that she'd said but she had also just freaked on him, hitting him, so she'd give him a little time to take all that in. She was, in a way, mad at herself for doing that. Jordyn was normally pretty good at keeping her emotions in, she'd never let it show when something was bothering her. With Craig, it seemed she wanted to show it. Mostly because she knew he had a hard time coming to terms with the fact that she did in fact care about him. She hoped her caring about him never changed and she didn't think it ever would.
Her kissing him hadn't really affected him in the way she though. In all honesty she kinda figured he'd get mad at her for doing it but he didn't. Now it seemed her being near him was calming him down. He seemed completely oblivious to what was going on outside and that didn't bother her one bit. If her being near him made him forget about the storm, then she was happy with that. She'd wanted to have that kind of an affect on him, and she was glad that she did. When he stepped even close to her after she'd backed away, she was slightly shocked. And then he did another thing that shocked her, he placed both of his hands on her cheeks, letting his fingers play in her hair. Oh, dear god. And then he spoke, saying that what she had done was considered cheating. She couldn't help but smile just slightly but her smile quickly faded when his lips met hers.
It took her a little while to react to the fact that he had kissed her back, she hadn't seen that coming either. Gah, he was full of surprises today. Which only made her wonder if it would change as soon as the storm was over and he wasn't as vulnerable. But she couldn't let herself think that, she hadn't taken advantage of that in anyway, she hadn't. Or at least thats what she would keep telling herself. It wasn't like she had intentions of doing what she had, she didn't. It was just too hard to fight the urge to want to do it. She wanted to know how it felt. It was amazing. She wanted to react more than just kissing him back, though she barely had enough of her thoughts to be able to do that. Craig already made her forget everything else except him when the two were together and now, his kiss was a totally different story.
Taking her hands, she interlaced her fingers with the front of his shirt, pulling him slightly closer to her, not like they could get much closer, if so one of them would disappear. Oh well. it was nice. When he pulled away from her, it took a few moments before her eyes finally fluttered open. His moving away she did not like but she didn't have to worry too much. All he'd done was move far enough away to stop kissing her, he'd stayed within a good distance of her and she'd continued to keep the firm grip on the front of his shirt. "...actually..." she stopped speaking for a moment to catch her breath, "i think.. you cheated.. mine was an innocent little peck and you had to take it further then that..." Shaking her head, she looked him in the eyes, "...why did you do that?... not that I didn't like it, nor would I not be willing to do it again.. but why? you've been yelling at me from day one about caring and letting my emotions out but yet you do that." She couldn't help but ask that question. He'd been nothing but an ass to her the entire time and even though she knew that he cared about her, it was kind of surprising to have him kiss her like that. Not that she wouldn't do it again if given the chance.
It also took her a little bit to catch on and remember his last comment, "and no, we're nowhere near even, baby.." Why she called him baby was beyond her so she looked down, letting her eyes fall to her hands which were still tightly gripping the front of his shirt. She was beyond certain that her cheeks were about the color of her hair right now. Not good, so not good. Ugh, she was certain her heart was going to race out of her chest at any minute. Why on Earth would he put her through so many emotions in one evening? Craig Jace seemed to always be testing her but it seemed to be totally different tonight for some reason. It was almost as if he was testing her because he wanted to see if she'd actually believe him when he said he didn't want her around. And she hadn't, not in the smallest way. It was just the fact that he had pushed her. Which she kinda didn't have a problem with that. It was just the memory of being treated like that as a kid came to mind when he had. She had her own personal demons to deal with. And now she had Craig adding to that. He seemed to have more emotional problems than she did. But she promised herself when she'd first met him that she'd never give up on him. She'd sensed something different in him from the first moment she'd met him and that hadn't changed once in the time since then.
Jordyn came back down out of her thoughts when lightening filled the room and a huge clasp of thunder hit later. Craig was the one with the phobia to thunderstorms, not her. Why the fuck was she jumping? Oh well, adverting her eyes back to Craig again, she smiled slightly, "...I think I'm going to take advantage of this couch and sit down.." Pushing on him just slightly to make him fall onto the couch again. She watched him for a moment and shook her head just a little. Sitting down at the other end of the couch, she watched him a little longer. If he wanted her near him then he would make the move to put her near him. She wasn't going to do anything that he didn't want her to, "Do what you will with me.." Her small, child-like giggle filled the air a little later and she winked at him, In a way she meant it but in another way she didn't. At least she didn't think she did. She wasn't really sure how far she'd let him go. As far as he'd wanted, she was sure of that much. It wasn't something she had to think over for a moment. She'd let him do what he wanted.

The feeling for him was wonderful. It was the first time in many years that he had been so calm at one point in a storm. With her fingers gripping his shirt, he was perfectly comfortable. He still wasn't sure how he was attracted to her but as long as he was, he just smiled. It was a clear smile, all thanks to Jordyn. He didn't care who was more innocent as long as he was the less innocent one. At the moment, anyways. It was his style to tease as well. Especially since her previous tease drowned him in temptation. Was it fair? He figured it was almost on even grounds. Did she think it was fair? Obviously not. Oh well. It amused him just as much.
But now she was asking why. Another question he wasn't sure of an answer to. Well, besides the fact it calmed him down, there was no other reason that was clear to himself. How bad would it sound, saying it was to calm himself down? Would it be too selfish? She already thought of him badly enough. But, he was straight forward enough to tell her the truth at this point. Why consider sinning some more with those lies he's been telling her for a while now? Sins. Ha, he could care less for those things. Well, he did owe her at least that much. If he owed her nothing else, the reason why should be enough, right? He hoped so....or not.
Her blush was just adorable to him. He had never seen her so red before. More like pink in the dark. He couldn't help but smirk at that one. He could tease, asking her why she was blushing so badly. Or he could leave it alone. Whichever one was more harmless but yet, more fun, he'd obviously choose. Taking advantage of the situation they were in just like she did. When Jordyn pushed him onto the couch, it shocked him a bit. That was a dirty move for her, separating the two like that. And why couldn't she just sit down right beside him? All the way on the other end? Mean of her. Pissed him off slightly. He stayed in that spot for a moment, thinking. What was the best way to get closer again? Just the continuous taps on the roof made him start to panic again. If he was allowed to do whatever he wanted, what was it that he should do? Of course he had those dirty thoughts but he had enough innocent thoughts to fill the rest of the empty space.
He looked over at her, unsure. But the next clash of the sky and he made his decision quickly. He moved over to her, simply kissing her on the cheek and then laying his head on her lap. He didn't realize that he had gripped the bottom of her dress out of that fear again. In a way he was like a lost child, confused about his own emotions. He didn't respond to her question. He kept quiet, just like before. Maybe she'd figure it out or maybe she'd ask him again. Either way, now he was wondering as to why he kissed her on the cheek. Before it was all her fault, tempting him, but now, that was all gone. And he had no reason for it. Even CJ was surprised at his own gentleness. He was never like this, with anyone, or anything. It was always him and his notebook. All feelings kept to himself.
He closed his eyes for only a moment but then looked up at her, innocence showing that shouldn't have. After all this, he wasn't sure of the result. All he could hope was, well, was that his glasses somewhere on the ground weren't broken yet. And that his shoes would be easy to find later. And that after this night, no matter what happened, she wouldn't end up saying those painful words of not wanting to see him again. Maybe that's why he had only merely kissed her on the cheek, now creating the new fear of losing specifically her. If that was the reason of all of his latest actions, he was okay with that. At least he was admitting it to himself. He'd rather be alone knowing there was someone who cared. It was way better than nothingness, which is all he usually got. Now, finding it best to finally speak, he parted his lips only slightly but waited. Then, "You're now forbidden to leave," in again, nothing more than a whisper.

Mood swings. it was the one word that came to mind at that very moment. Only it wasn't to describe her. In all honesty, Jordyn hadn't been all that moody lately, or well at least she didn't think she had. Others might have said differently. Jordyn didn't really care. But now, Craig seemed to be having mood swings. One minute he was yelling at her to leave and now he had his head in her lap and was gripping the bottom of her dress. In all honesty, he looked like a little kid but it was so cute. Jordyn couldn't help but smile at him, she fought the urge to laugh a little as well but she wouldn't do that.
Lifting her hand again, she placed it in his hair, letting her fingers run through it, his hair dancing between her fingers. It was nice to actually feel wanted by him. The one thing she had been wanting all along. Yet, at the back of her mind, she couldn't silence that voice in her head telling her she was letting him too close. No matter, she wasn't exactly listening to it at the time. She didn't think she had anything to worry about with Craig. He was way too innocent to try anything, or at least that's what she thought.
In her own little world, she was surprised when Craig looked up at her, she looked him in the eyes and waited on him to speak. Finally his words reached her but he spoke just above a whisper. Thank god she'd actually heard him. Now, according to him, she was forbidden to leave. On the inside she was jumping up and down because she'd wanted to hear that all along. Well, not exactly how he'd put it but at this point she wasn't going to be picky about it. "I'm not going anywhere, Craig.. I'm here for as long as you want me."
Sighing, she continued to play in his hair but after a while she got a little uncomfortable so she started to squirm under him. After a while of squirming she had positioned herself like she'd wanted. Craig's head was now resting on her stomach. Resting her one hand on the couch, she let it hang over the edge. Her other hand was still unconsciously playing in his hair. She'd always liked his hair, especially now that she actually got to play in it and not have him yell at her.
The girl had realized that he hadn't answered her question but she wasn't going to ask him again. It was kind of obvious that she really didn't need to. It was obvious enough now, or she hoped it was. The fact that he had kissed her on the cheek surprised her a little but she had otherwise ignored it until now. Craig Jace had never been that gentle, or that sweet to her before. With the exception of the first time they'd met but she didn't really consider that sweet, nor gentle.
Closing her eyes, she rested her head against the back of the couch. She was utterly content. And she didn't want this to end. She could stay like this forever and not get bored with it. But she knew eventually the storm would end and she wasn't really sure how Craig would act then. She knew one thing for certain though; she's never leave him. And she'd never repeat those words ever again. She'd gotten what she'd wanted for however long it lasted. And she was perfectly content with that.

As the storm calmed some, so did he. He wanted to just lay there for a long while, worn out. Not stay there forever, though. He hated the asylum enough already. Favorite thing..em, person, in here seemed to be Jordyn. At the moment. Besides that? Of course it's himself. Well, that's what some would think. But, he did like the feeling of her fingers running through his hair. Affection like that wasn't something he got too often.
"Good," he replied, closing his eyes again. Why not? He really was kinda tired out. Even with the storm still going, the moronic pink haired chick said she'd be there as long as he wanted, right? Words she probably should have never spoke because Mr. Sutherland Jace would surely take advantage of that. He can only last so long before putting up a few of his barriers again. "You can't leave until I tell you you can," And the barrier he happened to put up was the side of him we'd all consider to be a dick. Luckily for Jordyn, she got the tease-worthy part of it.
Letting go of her dress, he slowly went and grabbed her hand, the one hanging off the couch. He had forgotten about the smeared blood but luckily the cut had stopped bleeding by now. It was an impulse decision, but unlike with the dress, he actually realized what he was doing. He was finally willing to admit to himself he not only liked but wanted the attention from her. It was better than none at all. But that was only one of the pluses.
He turned on his side, other hand now having switched places with the original one gripping the dress. "Hey Jordyn," he muttered, hair falling a bit into his eyes. "I have a question for you," He was going to just straight out ask her the question but something stopped him. What ever it was, he wasn't sure. He did at least stop listening to the thunder and the rain drops. It had taken a while but he was able to block them out. The curiosity of why he just didn't use music to do that before Jordyn came didn't cross his mind. It was a good thing it hadn't though.

Jordyn was pretty content and in her own little world, the petter patter of the rain seemed to relax her, as well as make her sleepy. She stifled a yawn as she laid on the couch with him, dreading when the storm was over and he went back to normal dick head Craig. The moment she wished she could take back any and everything she'd said, and above all, had done.
Oh well, it was too late to take it all back now and if he wanted to be a dick head over it then that was just fine with her. She could easily go back to ignoring him. Ha. Like she'd been able to do that since she first met him. Dammit. She was hopelessly crazy about him and unless it was storming outside, he wanted nothing to do with her. Well, she could get her revenge by tormenting him. That should be easy enough.
When he let go of her dress and took her hand she was aware of him again. (ha, like she wasn't before) Watching him, she sighed a little. It was such a shame he couldn't be like this all the time. He was actually a great guy when he wanted to be, when a storm was occurring.
As he stated that he had a question for her, she honestly expected him to just ask it but he hesitated, which worried her a little. Any other time she'd be willing to hear it but since Craig Jace hesitated to ask whatever question was on his mind, she didn't really wanna know it. That didn't stop her from responding though, "What is it, Craig?"

"Even if I reject you later, will you still be near me?"
He said to himself in his head, thinking as if he said it out loud. It was official. He really did want her around. After this he'd have no choice but to consider her as a friend. But that was okay. Because at this point, she was to him. Why not be? He actually cared for someone at this asylum. Though, even after this, he'd still have a hard time telling her and showing her this. But he thought she probably already had the idea. It was obvious at that point.
He licked his lip piercing and shook his head a bit to move his hair, but only slightly. After realizing he only had said the question in his head, he asked it again. But still in his head. He didn't even have enough energy to ask the question out loud. Instead, he was half way asleep, not even trying to prevent himself from falling asleep on her. She was forbidden to leave, last time he checked. So it's not like it didn't matter. If she were to leave in the middle of the night, he'd only have to understand her reasoning. But he had the small wish of her staying. Or, actually, a huge wish that she would stay. Now having a bit more of a firm grip on her hand, one could barely, but still lightly hear him breathing.
It was merely at the next point, only a minute later after the pause, he was non-responsive and sleeping. He had finally passed out from the exhaustion of the storm. Even if it was still going or if it had stopped, he wouldn't know at this point. At least he was comfortable now. Jordyn and himself was all Craig Jace had to worry about.
