Harris wasn't supposed to be down here. He wasn't supposed to go most places. The staff liked to keep an eye on Harris. The reason being he either set things of fire or he ran away. Today he wasn't planning on running. He had no need to run. Not just yet anyway. He would have to either get annoyed with the staff here or he would track down his brother. Harris' brother Tyler was his main reason for running away. He would do anything for the boy but not knowing where he was, was hard and no-one would tell him anything. It was for both their goods they said. Harris knew if he could get his problem with fire under control he would be able to get of the place but not until he was eighteen. Unlike some of the paitents here his problem could be solved and he wasn't her for the long run. at least he hoped not.
His appearance in the basement was in a bid to hid from going to class. Harris had never been an academic sort not that he was dumb or anything. It was just that he hated being told what to do. It drove him insane that and the classes were boring and always got disturbed by someone playing up. His footsteps echoed around the empty basement as he walked around. A box of matches shook in his pocket with every step. It was a box he shouldn't have but had gotten hold of somehow. They lay nestled between empty candy wrappers and loose change. Harris's eyes adjusted to the dim gloom of the basement. Right now he was looking for something to do. If he didn't find something those matches would be light up pretty soon.

hush my child please don't cry
god will sing a L U L L A B Yit was dark. very very dark. opressively so. nico was scared. he wasn't meant to be down here, he knew it. but the man who was suppose to be looking after him for the day had left him down here. had forgotten about him. tears filled his eyes as he glanced around himself in a scared fashion, clutching his two toys to his tiny chest. in actual fact nico william trey was a twenty-two year old man. but for the past nineteen years he hadn't aged a day. so though he was over twenty, he still looked and acted like a three year old child. which meant he still had the irrational fears one has as a child.
for example, fear of the dark. a fear that some ended up having for most of their lives but known to mostly only have children who fear it. for in the dark is the unknown, the future, the scary monsters out to get them. the dark poses the fear of growing up. of no more play. however, combining the dark with being alone had nico terrified. he hated to be alone, but to be alone in the dark of all places was just the worst. he started to cry, his mind not developed enough to think for itself that they needed to find a way out of here. he had no common sense. some people became annoyed at that, but it was just the way he was. enteral youth the local papers had once said about him. he wasn't sure about that, ever. but he knew one thing. right now, he was scared.
"DADDDDDYYYY~!
" he cried, not remembering that his father couldn't come to him here.[/blockquote][/blockquote] hola chicas and chicos! this piece is finite and so here is nico william trey ok? and he's wearing this gorgeous little thing that i made! anywho, right now see, i think he's in the basment with... who was it again? oh yeah, it was harris jon kline! now, i'm not sure how many words i've used, nor do i really care, so you'll just have to put up with it! but i'll be going in a second. i would just like to say that i was listening to tokio hotel songs for the most of this post, i would recommend you listen to them to because they're epic! anywho, cookie of knives and pens made this, so if you steal it, leave on this credit mmk?

Harris's eyes adjusted to the dark pretty quickly. Dispite it being nearly completly dark down here some shafts of light leaked in from small windows, which were mostly cover in years of dirt and cobwebs. They were lights hanging over head but Harris had no idea where a switch was to turn any of them on. As he wondered along the dim and nearly pitch black corridors. He heard someone call out in the dark. It wasn't something that was unusual what was, was the voice of the person and what they called out. To hear the voice of someone so young call out made hair's on the back of his neck stand up. Harris had no clue where the voice was coming from but had an idea it was from up ahead calling out he queried "Hello?".
Not really waiting on the response Harris strode forward. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out the boxes of matches. No he wasn't about to set anything on fire but to light one so he could see more clearly in the dark. It would only be a quick burst of light but it would do. It would allow enough light for him to see and small bit ahead and figure out where the voice had came from. Lighting the match, the flame came into life. The quick burst of light allowed Harris to see a small figure up ahead. Let the match burn out he dropped it and walked up the corridor towards the person. Drawing closer he saw it was a child Harris was confused. The youngest person here he was sure was fourteen. "Hello?" he said again.

god will sing a L U L L A B Yreality was always far from nico's little world, his little bubble. time evaded him. he didn't know how long he'd been down here, since he couldn't tell the time, but he didn't honestly care about exact times. it felt to the boy like it had been hours since the man had left him here to take some other person back upstairs who was being violent, even if it had only been ten minutes. ten minutes of being down here, where the man had left him for his own safety.
ten minutes, was far too long to leave a child on their own. he wanted to kick and scream and cry and throw things, but he couldn't. he couldn't because it was dark. the dark made him too scared to do anything for the moment other than cry for help. it was during a hiccough that he heared the approach of another. frantically he looked around before jumping in alarm when he saw the flickering light. it scared him but it was light so he reached towards it, stood rooted on the spot in fear. he hiccoughed again and tried to wipe some of the tears away using the stuffed giraffe he was holding.
"S-scawyyy~!" he cried, the tears still falling as he reached for Harris, instinct telling him he wanted to be comforted by the other.

Moving further along the corridor, it wasn't long before he reached the person he had made out while lighting the match. He heard the voice again, that of a small child. Had one of the staff brought their kid to work and left them down here? Or did it belong to one of the patients with one of the more obscure problems. Harris felt that it was the later and that it belong to one of the more obscure patients. His eyes adjusted further in the gloom. Harris had pretty good night vision and could see quite good in the dark. It was down to all the time he had ran away and had to find somewhere to sleep for him and his brother. That had involved some pretty dark buildings, hence the need for good night vision.
Drawing further he saw what appeared to be a small boy. Once close enough he knelt down on the floor and said "Hello, are you lost?" Most people he knew would have ignored the kid, not seeing him as a problem, but Harris had this natural insinct to protect. It didn't matter who you were, it was just something inside him that made him that way. It was because of his close bond to his brother and his need to keep him from harm that he felt this way with other people. Not everyone but most.
