There was only one reason Craig was attending this whole stupid thing. Alcohol. And there was only one person he was sure he actually liked around here. Jordyn. So how did he drag her to such a place? Well, it was simple. No, actually, it felt more embarrassing than simple. Walking into the park, everything played back in his head.
He had just gotten dressed into a new outfit when he heard news of this whole queer bonfire thing. In fact, it sounded stupid at first. But surely his wants came into this lovely little picture. And it was perfect. But for him to go in alone? He had no problem with that. Or did he? The whole question was on whether he wanted to or not. The idea of going with someone popped into his head. It'd be more fun and whatever happened, it wasn't like he'd remember it by morning anyways. So, who would he bring? It had to be someone he wouldn't get pissed off at easily.
He had seen her in the hall and stopped her, not sure what to say besides "uhhh." As Jordyn's third time of wanting to walk away, he told her to wait and that he..well, he had an idea. And that she'd be a moron not to at least listen to it. And if she didn't listen, he'd pick her up again. Of course she argued and of course he had to escape his usual self for a bit. So, clapping his hands together, he got down on both knees. He didn't want the arguing to carry out too long. In the nicest tone he could possibly pull off, he said "Jordyn. My name is Craig Jace and I am begging you to please come with me to the bonfire tonight so I don't look like some lonely idiot," and thus, he grinned and they were there.
So, in his glasses, hair parted left, and a black button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and half the buttons undone, he was under the night time stars walking up to the park. The fire lit brightly already and people had already showed. The first thing he went for was obviously that unopened bottle of alcohol. Immediately opening it, he took a sip and grinned. It had been too long for him and any later, he would have gone insane.
He then faced Jordyn, grinning like he wanted something. "So.... you're not gonna be some dull, lame ass chick, are you?" he questioned, not implying anything sexual but implying "having fun" in general. If she wanted to see anything slightly "Un-Craig-Like," he'd just have to make her break out of her little shell, just slightly. Even though it seemed to him that just getting her to come here had already seemed to be her limit. But, he'd never truly know until morning.

Jordyn had heard about the stupid bonfire but it wasn't like her to show up to these things. The only thing that went on was drinking, people making out and having sex. And neither of those three things interested Jordyn in anyway at all. She had no intention of going. Staying in her room reading or drawing seemed like a much better use of her time. Up until she ran into Craig. Oh great, just great. In all honesty, she wanted to walk away from him. She wasn't sure what he wanted and the fact that he had stopped her at all, surprise her. When he said he had an idea and that she should at least listen to it, she rolled her eyes a little. Crossing her arms over her chest, she stopped to listen to him. She'd give him that, at least.
When he got down on both knees, Jordyn adverted her eyes to the hallway, it was relatively empty and then her eyes fluttered back on Craig again as he told her his name and then basically begged her to go with him. Gosh, he was so fucking annoying but yet so cute at the same time and she couldn't exactly say no to that. He'd asked nicely, after all. Pulling him to his feet, she smiled a little at him, "Alright, fine. I'll go with you. But don't abandom me when we get there." She glared at him just slightly, in a warning kind of way.
Before long, she found herself at the park with Craig, regretting even agreeing to come here. She'd never let lose enough to be able to have a good time and she knew that Craig would. He'd eventually ditch her due to it and she'd be left out in the cold. Oh well, it was too late to turn around and change her mind now. When he faced her, and asked that question she knew was coming, she looked at him, "Me and alcohol don't normally mix too well together." It wasn't like she had never had anything to drink in her life, she just didn't hold her alcohol all that great. Adverting her eyes, she surveyed the group of people at the park. Great, just great. No one here I know nor associate with. Besides him. Adverting her eyes back to Craig again, she shrugged, "I don't want to keep you from having fun though.." it was true, she didn't and the last thing she wanted was to get on his nerves.
Or for him to hate her. As it stood then, even though they hadn't had a great first meeting, he seemed to like to be around her to a certain extent. He had to, right? He had invited her along. Practically begged her to go. But that could have just been because she just happened to be the first person that he saw that he knew. Oh well. Whatever. This voice in her mind kept telling her to relax and have a good time but that wasn't likely to happen. Tags: Anna, Max and Craig. Words: Enough Outfit: click me

Anna had heard a few things about a bonfire in the park floating around, and decided that she must check it out. She was in desperate need to drink, to forget, to just lose control and all inhibitions. This was the place, Anna was sure. She had heard that it was a full-out party – drugs, sex and alcohol all included. All the more reason for Anna to be there. She honestly didn’t care about who was there – she would make new friends if she didn’t like anyone there. She was a friendly drunk, to say the least. She was never a bitch when she drank, she just let go and relaxed. Exactly what she needed.
With the already blazing fire in her sight, Anna smiled. She was excited for this, even if all the people around here were crazy – all the more reason to drink. Anna didn’t care about how she acted around them… She would be out of this place soon enough. At least, that was the plan, and she was determined to make it happen. She couldn’t stand it here – she just wanted out, wanted back home. There wasn’t anything wrong with her, in her eyes – she didn’t have any terrible problems, and she didn’t belong here.
Much to her delight, Anna saw an unopened bottle of vodka. Noticing that no one was near it, really, Anna decided to claim it as her own. It was her personal bottle. Twisting it open, she took a sip. Feeling the familiar liquid scorch down her throat, warming her entire body, she let out a content sigh as she closed the bottle back up. Looking around her, she noticed an empty spot near the fire, and made her way for it. Sitting down, she continued to tip the bottle back, feeling herself slip into the dream-like state that she loved so much. Thankfully, no one had bothered her yet – and she didn’t really think that anyone would. But at this moment, she wanted someone to hang around with. So she started looking around for someone that she deemed tolerable.
It wasn’t that hard of a task, and in a short moment Anna found someone. Craig Sutherland. Normally, she wasn’t all that fond of him – but she had enough fun arguing with him, he was cute, and she knew that he was up for a good time. He always was. Not even noticing that he was with another girl, Anna attempted to jump up, and stumbled a little bit, but managed the task nonetheless. When she reached him, she smiled at him and held the bottle up in an offering. ”Hey, babe, come over to the fire with me?”
It was simple, direct, straight-forward. She wanted company while she was drunk, and figured he would be the one to accept. ”I know you want to!” she sang, ”I have vodka!” Anna tempted him, twilring the liquid in the bottle around while she giggled.

That was boring. Not a drinker? Oh, come on! Who was he supposed to have some fun with if she didn't want to drink with him? He invited her to hang out with him. No one else. She wouldn't hold him back or anything though. Course not! He invited her so he was going to make her enjoy herself if she didn't. What better did Craig have to do? Hm, one would say, besides drink, nothing. Absolutely nothing. Maybe after tonight she'd become an ally of some sort. This night would become something of a new friendship? Maybe he'd finally figure out his attraction to her. Why he did what he did back at the auditorium as well.
He took another sip of his beer. Only, a longer one than before. And before he knew it, one bottle was gone already. Sure, he shouldn't have taken so much in yet at one time. Too bad he didn't care. When would be the next time he'd have this chance? How often would he really get this sweet temptation? Looking to Jordyn, he began to speak but cut off, starting to think too much again. Would she be okay with him drinking? As his invite shouldn't he be a bit more courteous towards her? Especially if he wanted to figure out the attraction?
Or so he thought he should. The flaw with all of this was he didn't promise not to ditch her. And every little thing could change at any moment during any thought. And when the stumbling bitch rolled in, offering him vodka, that's a different story. This story was she had vodka. And vodka tempted him like hell. Taking the bottle, he actually forgot about Jordyn for a moment as he drank from the thing. The sweet taste sliding down his throat made him smile, handing the bottle back to Annabel.
Licking his lip ring, he adjusted his glasses and looked towards Jordyn. "Be back," CJ barely mumbled, now grinning as he looked at Annabel. This was new. A girl he argued with now wanted to drink with him? Oddly enough, his newest thought of her hadn't crossed his mind once, for anyone, during his stay here so far. Sexy. Very sexy of her. But yet, oh so very odd. Turning towards the fire, he nodded for Annabel to follow, now secretly excited to drink more. Now, Annabel didn't attract to him as someone he wanted to get drunk and do stuff with. But if she knew how to have a good time, since he wouldn't remember, what did anything matter? He'd just ask someone later for the summary on tonight's events.

Post by MAX ETHAN CREE on Apr 19, 2010 21:07:22 GMT
Max stumbled upon the bonfire. He was just wondering around, drinking from a bottle of vodka that he held tightly in his left hand. He had heard about the party of sorts but wasn't all that interested in going. So that night he had taken it upon himself earlier that night to relieve a liquor store of a bottle of vodka and a six pack of some beer. He held the beer in his right hand, and he looked around at all of the people. He wasn't planing on sharing any of the 'borrowed' liquor. He wandered over to a tree and sat down in the grass. He was wearing a dark red tee shirt with a black button up over that, but the button up shirt was left unbuttoned and was slightly wrinkled. It looked good on him tho, most things that looked or actually were dirty and looked used worked on him. Before he had left he had also pulled on a pair of plain black skinny-jeans. He was wearing a belt, that had silver studs in it but it was just to complete the look. He dint really need it, but he had needed shoes so he had pulled on his trusty gray and white high-top All Stars.
So as he sat down in the grass he was trying to go unnoticed. He took another swig of the vodka, then twisted the cap back on. He looked at the people dancing and laughing around the fire. He opened one of the six beers and drained the entire thing quickly. If he got wasted quickly enough then maybe he could try to hook up with a girl, or just pass out. He looked up from his booze to see a girl standing alone. She looked hurt, alone and pissed off. Had she just been dumped? A guy was seeming to walk away from her. He stood up slowly and then picked up his booze. He casually walked over to her and looked at her silently for a few moments. Hr finally spoke, "Hey...Are you ok?" His words hadn't begun to slur yet, because he was a heavy drinker by this time in his life. He was also excellent at holding it. He never had a hangover in his life...If you excluded his first party where he got so smashed that he was throwing up and had passed out. He also never threw up, if you excluded that same party. He would just drink then pass out.
He looked at the girl silently, waiting for her response. Then he decided to speak again, "By the way...My name is Max." He nodded slightly but he dint know why. He set the beers at his feet, then quickly drank the rest of the vodka. After he was done he just dropped the bottle to hold out his left hand. After all he was polite to women no matter what state he was in. He held his hand in the air waiting for her to shake it, or hit it. Just for her to do something. He pushed back his left sleeve noticing that it had slipped down his arm. He pushed it up to his elbow. He was tan yes, but he actually dint spend much time in the sunlight. He smiled at her again then looked down, his gray eyes falling back on the beer. He bent over quickly and pulled one out. He put it in his left hand then asked her politely, "So would you like a beer? You don't have to if you don't want to..." His gray eyes sparkled in the fire light, he loved a good fire. "So why are you here? You wanted to see a good fire or what?" He nodded toward the fire, but also in the direction that guy had walked off into. Jordyn watched in total shock as Craig was lead off by the bitchy popular girl with vodka. She knew this would end like this and she still decided to go with him. Damn her stupid, idiotic attraction to him. The ability to not be able to say no hadn't helped any either. She wanted to just die, in all honesty. She couldn't make him stay though but she was going to be mad at him. Despite that fact, the only emotion showing on her face right now was hurt. The fact of the matter was, she was mad at him, wanted to hit him, but she knew without a doubt in her mind that it would happen when he approached her and asked her to go. She was just an easy way out of not having to go alone and Jordyn didn't like it. She'd get him back somehow. She wasn't sure how at this point but she would.
It didn't take too long before she was noticed by some guy at the party. At first she was going to be mean to him but he had actually noticed she looked kinda hurt so she wasn't going to be mean to him, "Actually, no I'm not really okay. Thanks for noticing.." Jordyn wasn't really sure if he was drunk or not. If he was drunk, he held his alcohol well and if he wasn't then he should start. Dealing with Jordyn at a party wasn't an easy task, unless. Well, unless she decided to drink just to get back at Craig. Hm, sounded like a good idea at the time to her. She'd deal with the consequences of it later. When he introduced himself, she smiled sweetly, "I'm Jordyn. Nice to meet you, Max." When he extended his hand to her, she shook it for a moment but then wrapped her arms around herself. She wasn't as close to the fire as everyone else and she was slightly cold.
When he bent down, she noticed the beer at his feet. Perfect. As he stood back up again, he extended one to her, asking if she wanted on. Jordyn nodded her head, "Actually, yes, I do. Thanks." Taking it from him, she opened it and downed almost half of it before she stopped. This night was going to be slightly interesting. Oh well, if Craig wanted to be a dick to her then she could at least try to get him back. Not sure how that would go. When he asked why she was here, she looked over at him slowly, "I'm here because I was begged by someone to go and then when we get here, he ditches me." She smiled in an aggravated way and then downed some more of the beer. "So, I'm going to get drunk now and say to hell with him. You can, of course, keep me company if you want. Being by myself doesn't seem too appealing right now." The girl hadn't really thought through using Max to get at Craig, that hadn't crossed her mind. At least not yet. Max seemed like a nice guy. Besides, he was cute and Jordyn could sense that she'd have a good time with him. Now if only she could get him off her mind.

Max grinned widely as he watched her take to beer out of his hands. "I would love to keep you company." He was just bending down to pop open a third beer. He only had three left, but he was sure to be able to find more alcohol if he really looked. He stood up and took a sip, drinking a fourth of the beer. He really wanted a smoke, but what if this Jordyn girl thought it was gross. He was trying to quit anyway. He dint want cancer. He laughed at how lame that excuse was. He did other drugs all the time, but he was worried about cancer! He took another sip then looked at Jordyn. "I'm sorry that the guy that asked you to come left you. He must be a stupid asshole for leaving such a pretty girl all alone." He winked then turned his attention toward the fire. He watched the flames eat the wood, burning it and leaving the ashes behind. He drank the rest of his beer quickly then leaving the bottle where he stood, he reached a hand out toward Jordyn. "You wanna go dance in some fire light?" Without an answer he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the fire.
He pulled her in close and began to dance, not like the other people who were grinding up on one another, but slow dancing. He held her closely but not tightly, he would let her walk away if she wanted. He was dancing and thinking about the fire as he held her. "So...Who brought you here anyway?" He was thinking about the guy that had left her, and it was beginning to piss him off. He hated men, epically men that left a girl for another one. He let go of Jordyn the looked at her. "I'm going to get us some more beer, hold on to your answer." He ran back over to the beer and noticed that only two were left, some jackass had taken one. He ignored it and took the last beers back over to where Jordyn was. He sat on the ground at her feet and held one of the beers up to her. "So who was he?" He looked into the fire, trying to see through it. He looked around the party of sorts. He wanted to see if he could find the guy. He balled up his fists, he knew he had to calm down. He dint want to explode infront of her. He was drunk but it might take a few more beers of another bottle of vodka before anyone could tell. He opened his beer and gulped it down. Maybe if he got wasted he wouldn't freak out. Listening to: Sex And Candy by Marcy Playground Tags: Craig, Annabel, Jordyn Words: 'nuff Notes: I like candy...Also not much muse today.

Anna really had no intentions of starting anything between her and Craig, whether it just be for the night, or long-term. She didn't want him in that way, honestly. Just a part of her wanted to get to know him, and she figured that this was a good start. Of course, Anna loved the arguing relationship that they shared. But she still wanted to know the kid. And drunk Anna figured that this was a good place to start. Getting drunk together.
When he went with her without any arguing, Anna was slightly surprised. Even in her current state, she knew their relationship, knew how he was, and found it nearly impossible that he had just gone along with her, not putting up a fight of any sort. Maybe he wanted to get to know her better too. It was a possibility, Anna figured. Not that this was a big deal. They were just going by the fire to drink, so Anna wouldn’t be alone. She hated being alone while she drank.
As he grinned at her, Anna grinned right back at him, her charcoal gray eyes now containing a spark of excitement. With his nod, she then realized that he had been with someone before she had stumbled up. Sending the girl an apologetic look, she hoped that the other girl knew that she wasn’t into him, that she hadn’t actually ruined anything. Craig didn’t have to follow Anna though, it was all him. So if they did have something going on, it wasn’t her fault that he went along with her. How could it be? The girl just better not blame her. It wouldn’t really matter, sure, but Anna didn’t like it when people were unjustifiably mad at her. It was just pointless.
She took another drink from the bottle before following Craig back to the fire, happy that she wouldn’t be alone anymore. Sitting back down, she took another drink from the bottle and held it out to him. ”So, Craig,”
she started, ”What’s up?” Anna smiled at him softly, just getting conversation going between the two. ”What brought you out here?” Anna stretching her legs out towards the fire as she leaned against her elbows, already having an idea at what his reply would be. The reason everyone was here. Drinking, partying, to have a good time. The more alcohol, the better for others. The only difference was that unless he was in an emotional state before the drinking, he still wouldn't spill his secrets. Sure, he was more open and talkative when he drank, but unless upset beforehand, anything too personal still stayed silent. Right now, grabbing the bottle and taking another drink, his personality was already starting to take a twist. The question was which part of him would they like better, if not all of him?
He could argue but in all honesty, he truly didn't want to right now. His concerns were all around him. The only thing he really had to be cautious of was being flirtatious. But he usually had slight control over that one.Biting his lip, still surprisingly smiling, he laid down on his side beside her, elbow supporting most of his weight. He took one more drink before handing it back to her. Why he was here? To get drunk. To remember what it felt like outside of that stupid asylum. "I'm here because..."
Craig needed a better reason besides coming here to drink. Something that would sound...no, nothing sounded more attractive than drinking. Well, nothing like being honest. "I wanted to see if someone entertaining would amuse me," at that line he quickly glanced back over at Jordyn without even realizing it, but then just as quickly turned his full attention back to her. He wanted something a bit stronger now, maybe a mix of vodka and some other alcoholic beverage around here. But until the bottle him and Annabel had was gone, he'd make do with just vodka.
"So then, how are you enjoying your time out of that damned place?" he asked, already knowing everywhere I was better than there. None of them wanted to be in that stupid asylum but they were stuck there. Luckily they all got out to this place.

Jordyn tried to keep her mind occupied by something other than Craig and the more alcohol she put into her body, the easier that task was. When Max said he's loved to keep her company, Jordyn smiled, "Thanks.." Jordyn didn't really know Max but at this point in time he seemed like a sweet guy. His next statement made her frown and she shook her head, "No, its okay." As he winked at her, she couldn't help but giggle. Especially after his comment of her being pretty, "Thanks again. He doesn't seem to think so, I don't guess." The girl honestly didn't know what went on in that head of his and quite frankly she didn't care to know. Okay, so maybe that wasn't the entire truth. Most times she'd love to know what went on his head. Maybe she'd get a little insight to the way his mind worked, and the way he worked for that matter. Maybe then she might actually have a chance with him.
When he asked her if she wanted to go dance and then pulled her over to the fire to dance with her, she was surprised at his method of dancing. He opted to slow dance with her and in all honesty it was nice. She didn't pull away from him and she let him lead. She was just before answering him when he said he was going to get the beers for them. when he returned she gave him the answer. "His name is Craig Jace." She wasn't really sure if he knew of him or not. It might have been a possibility but she wasn't really sure. Taking the beer he had handed her, she opened it up and took a sip of it. Sitting down next to him, she stared at the first. Keeping her eyes off of the one person she didn't wanna be reminded of. God, how she hated him but at the same time, she didn't. Why had he invited her and why did he have to leave her and why did he have to be such an ass? Why was she questioning herself over this? Screw him. She was having fun.
