“No please, you can't go! I...I need you!" Screamed a young girl in tears, as she pawed the air trying to get her boyfriend back. "I am tired of your laziness and your lies!!" A deep voice echoed bouncing off the walls making it seem more tyrant. Slamming the door so hard it almost broke off the hinges the young girl sat in a corner with a red mark of being slapped as it stung with the pain of heartache.
With a flash of light coming through her mind her eyes slowly awakened her body and the feeling of aloneness and uncomfortable. A tear slowly glided down her cheek picking up more tears that had fallen when she was asleep and dropping to her already soaked pillow. Lying in her single bed she realized that she had seen these nightmares before, way too many times. With grassy green eyes a girl no older than 15 looked around at her surroundings. There were four other women about her age sleeping in two separate bunk beds across the room. The young women slowly sat up, rubbing her red puffy eyes.
The second she sat up she realized something was wrong. She was sick to her stomach. Tara knew if she moved any more then she already had, she'd throw up whatever was in her stomach. So she sat still for a moment, as still as she could. But her body was shaking in a cold sweat. Her eyes were heavy, and she knew what this meant. It's been fair too long since she's had some drugs in her system. Her breathing was fast yet shallow, and she knew she needed something and quick. She sat fumbling with the cell phone that sat on her desk, sending a quick text to Lucifer, her drug dealer. Her text message simply said; meet me under the cherry tree ASAP! He'd know what that meant. Tara never usually used punctuation in her text, so he should know it was rather important.
She's been here just about a year now, and still she was not used to waking up to the cream colored walls, the shakes and stomach aches. The young women kicked her feet off her bed, her feet touching the floor instantly. She got the short bed, the worst one in the room. Guess that's what you get when you’re the new girl in town. The young women flipped open her cell phone, to be greeted with a flashing red word, "Elizabeth". That was the young woman's stolen name. The one she still goes by. She'd hoped he would have texts her back, so she knew he received her text, but nothing. It took but a second for Elizabeth AKA Tara to see the time, flashing in the upper corner; it was still early, no wonders he yet to answer.
It took quite a bit of effort for Tara to stand on her own two feet. Quickly she undressed, grabbing a towel and her little shower caddy, she was off in the bathroom to take a shower. It would help with the shakes. Once she finished in the bathroom, she made her way back to her dorm room to change. Seeing as her roommates were still asleep, she knew she had to be quite. Last thing she needed was one of her roommates on her ass about waking them up. Tara did not want any trouble.
Tara dove into her little closet, picking out something simple. Putting on a simple black bra and matching boy thong, she grabbed a simple sheer black dress. She fixed the sleeves so it hung over her shoulders, and pulled the dress down so it reached just above her finger tips. Tara slipped on some black leggings, and some bright red flip flops (She'd normally wear heels, but in her current state she'd fall on her ass), matching her hair. She threw her hair up into a pointy tail, grabbed her purse, and off she went to buy herself some drugs.
It did not take that long to truck her way through the halls and outside into the courtyard. The second she got outside she pulled out a cigarette and began to smoke it. It helped with the shakes, but she still looked like shit. The big tree was off to the side where most drug deals went down. She was suppressed no teachers had found this spot. Tara was first to the tree, sucking down her second cigarette. At least now she was not shaking. She was a little dizzy and felt like she needed a bucket, but other than that. It looked like she had a bad night. Digging in her bag Tara pulled out her cell phone once more to check her messages. And a little message popes up. 'look under the third rock to the left of the tree'. Tara smiled at the text. He always came through for her. She counted the rocks and under the third one, sat a dark blue bag. Tara picked it up and opened it. She was about to jump, but knew that would be a bad idea. So rather she opened it and placed two tinny pills in her mouth. It would dissolve, and soon her shakes and such would be over. So here she sat under the beautiful tree, waiting for her drugs to kick in. The rest of her drugs sat safely in her bag, ready to be sold.
