His smile quickly disappeared into oblivion, now silent as Caleb spoke. Kill himself? Addicted to things that weren't good? Not eat? He didn't like this. Not one bit. He wanted to hug Caleb oh so very badly but knew that that might be a bit too far. Still, that urge didn't go away. In a non-lucky case to Dustin, he unfortunately resisted. And instead leaned in a bit closer to Caleb. He tried his best to form that smile again but it was a bit forced. And he couldn't stand anything forced.
He then straightened out his face and once again gave Caleb a real smile. "..Do you have a bad relationship with your brother?" he asked with that concerned tone. His eyes showed true worry for the boy, feeling bad for him and now wanting desperately to help him leave this place and get a fresh start. And, how could you want to be away from your brother? He couldn't really understand that one with how much he loved his own brother. But he'd still try to help with anyway possible.
"And i'll deal with you if your parents won't..so come to me if you need anything, okay?" he offered, full blown honesty showing. He was happy he could actually feel some real emotions around this guy. Ones that he knew were at least slightly legit.
He remembered the last time he had seen his brother, walking away from him. Leaving him alone in this place. It was wretched. Or so he thought. It was the worst moment in the world that would probably eat away at his his corpse when he died. His brother had left him and he couldn't feel a thing. Except for not being real. He felt so dead, not there. A lost soul in the dark. His brother hadn't known too much about his disorder but he remembered it clearly. Watching his brother walk away was just like in the movies. Another thing that didn't feel real.

"..Do you have a bad relationship with your brother?"
Caleb wasn't real sure how to answer this question. His relationship with Brandon was horrible, but he had already told the kid too much. He sighed, shaking his head no. "Uh... I think he doesn't l-l-like the fact that...uh, I-i'm not his r-real brother...." He mumbled. Hoping that that was enough for him not to have to explain anymore and that the kid would catch the drift that he was adopted.
With a soft sigh, he wrapped his arms around himself again, in an attempt to keep himself calm.
"And i'll deal with you if your parents won't..so come to me if you need anything, okay?" Caleb shrugged, not wanting to drag his problems out to anyone. He hated to bother people. He felt like a bother his whole life, but that was simply because his foster dad had told him that, ever since the day that they found out Caleb has problems. That he was a little less than the perfect kid that his family wanted him to be and wished he was.
Caleb bit his bottom lip and looked down at his shoes, still avoiding eye contact, trying not to cry.
Caleb was extremely emotional. The smallest thing could set the black haired boy into tears, which was not a fun thing to try and calm down. People normally thought the boy was just a drama queen, but that wasn't true. He was just extremely emotional. Little small things hurt him, a whole lot. Such as being rejected or someone correcting him. He wasn't really sure why it was, but he was sure it was something he couldn't change.

He quietly sighed, now realizing his limits were reached. He took a step back from Caleb, playing with the bracelets on his wrist. He turned some of them around, making sure the peace signs and beads were facing up and towards him. He felt more comfortable with them that way. Being able to see them from any distance reminded himself that peace could solve anything if handled the right way. Violence only led to pain, bloodshed, and death. Violence was never the answer.
Dustin never liked to worry about himself. In fact, he'd rather focus on other peoples problems. He felt too selfish if he ever truly worried about himself. Plus, helping others was helping himself. Though, this whole situation, he already seemed to regret now more than ever. He took a deep breath and then looked back up at Caleb, now giving him his full attention once more. The distraction of the bracelets was enough time for him to regather his thoughts.
He cleared his throat and placed one hand in his pocket, only to look at Caleb's expression. Had he really hit that deep of a point in his life? It looked like this boy could break at any moment. He seemed like he was definitely one who needed to vent but yet, didn't want to. Dustin had never met anyone like this before. He wasn't sure on what to say or what advice to give. So, he took his hand out of his pocket and put both of his own hands over his own ears. "Please don't cry," he stated, trying to not listen to himself. "I apologize for upsetting you. Please don't be upset," he closed his eyes, trying to just say something, anything, to cheer the guy up. Impulsive words this time as well.
"I'll make it up to you, okay? I promise," he declared, now uncovering his ears and bending down a bit to try and match up with Caleb's eye sight. "So you should smile." Dustin was always trying to think positive and encourage more happiness. It seemed like this boy needed someone cheerful in his life. Even though he probably wasn't helpful at all and was probably only making things worse, he still wanted to make him feel better.
