* / OVERALL PERSONALITY[/b] Tara likes to think of herself as lucky. She has the perfect family, with no issues. She has two loving parents, a little brother whom she adores; everything is just perfect, which was really thanks to her hard working parents. She has always gotten everything she's wanted due to her parents being wealthy, but surprising she is fair from spoiled. In fact she is so not spoiled you'd think she had a dime to her family name. That's just how she was raised. She's a giver not a taker. Shoot Tara takes the ‘having money thing’, and tries to hide it. So far, she will shop at Ross, or stores with major discounts. She'll also often not by something 'because she can’t afford it' When really, she can. She just does not need all the stuff she wants. Of course she will splurge every now and again, but it’s never something big. In fact her parents tried to get her a pretty little Lamborghini, but she would not take it, rather she picked out a nice little Audi convertible; a lot less expensive and a heck of a lot less flashy. But that's how she liked it, simple and 'normal'.
She is super sweet, someone you'll love, and who will love you. She's pretty much always been this way, though people don't really see that side of her. Seeing as Tara is rather, out there when it comes to her looks, people are really stand-offish around her. They don't usually talk to her; which makes her anti-social by default really. But once you get past her looks, it’s smooth sailing from there. Tara is the kind of person who will bend over backwards to help a friend. She thinks every problem has an easy solution as long as you smile. (She really needs to follow her own advice a little more.) Tara has a positive attitude, and won’t take 'I can't' as an answer. In fact say I can't around Tara, and she'll make sure you can, and will. Tara is really a great friend, the kind of person you call at 3am when your boy-friend just broke up with you, and you need a friend to cry to. Shoot Tara would take in to the next level, For she'd be standing on your front step with a gallon of ice cream and tissues waiting for your call.
When Tara got into a fight with her mother, at the very young age of 11, things began to change and fast. Tara just was not able to handle her mother’s nagging her, anymore, so Tara went sour. She was no longer ‘Miss Goodie Goodie.’ She was no longer Miss, Yes ma’am no ma’am. Tara’s mind started to get darker. Her thoughts twisted from bunnies and rainbows to black skulls and blood. Her hair was the first thing to change to reflect her new self. Her hair went from a pretty brown color to a pitch black. She later added red to the mix. She began to watch darker shows, and movies. These movies began to push ideas into her young mind, and she socked it up like a sponge. Each person on the TV, she could relate to, she wanted to be them. She wanted to be the women sleeping with 30 men in one night, she wanted to be the women people feared, she wanted to be loved, in the spot light, beautiful. She wanted to be everything her mother was not. She wanted to be powerful, she wanted to be a women. So with her can-do kind of attitude, she slowly made the change.
Tara’s mind got darker; she began to dress sexier. She began to search for attention. She’d walk the streets in next to nothing. The more people stopped to talk, the happier Tara became. The sweet girl was slowly being pushed aside for a darker almost evil person. She became more demanding, needier and her parent’s wealth was now a gift. A gift she’d use to her advantage. She’d go out and buy drugs, to aid in her search for a feel good moment. She began obsessed with death, and loved to watch such things. She found herself at underground fights more often than not. Enjoying the destruction, she saw. It added some more fuel to her fire. She began to steal things, just for the thrill. Steal crap things she’d end up throwing out anyway. But it was something, and it gave her a rush, it was a small rush, but a rush none the less. Once she really got into the drug scene, her wild child had a tool to come out and play. When high she’d try to seduce as many men as possible in one night. She’d keep tally, it was a game for her. She especially loved the older males, the ones who had wives. It made the game harder. Tara liked a challenge, and she’d never accept no as an answer.
The more her parents tried to get her back on track, the more her parents wished her to be ‘normal’, the more she rebelled. The more she hated her parents, the more she wished she was alone. She started to gain some anger, which added even more fuel to her raging fire. With the anger she began to get out of control. She’d run away for weeks on end, living off of her mother’s stolen credit card, living in hotel rooms with random strangers. The drugs came more often, and the sex was a way of life. She was young, and it became harder and harder, for her to get her fix of men. So she had ended up stealing someone’s identity. With her new ’18 year old self’ she was free to do as she pleased. The men were constant; the drugs were always running in her veins. She was now happy, and it was because of her anger. So she held onto the anger, held the anger, so it could protect her child like innocent. Her rebellion came to a quick halt as she was taken off to a ‘school’. She knew nothing of the school, but it frighten her greatly.

father , Andrew Cross Senior - 39 years – CEO.
mother , Vanessa Cross- 38 years - OBGYN
* / SIBLINGS[/b]
Andrew Cross Junior, 5 years old , student
* / OTHER FAMILY[/b] None.
* / HISTORY[/b]Tara's story begins long before she was born. Her history starts when her parents were in high school, for that's where they met. Vanessa was a cheerleader, and very popular among the boys. Whereas Andrew was a geek, in the science club, the person people like Vanessa cheat off of. Though Vanessa was smart she did not really like doing her own work, so she made sure to get real close to a boy named Andrew, who of course did everything she ever said. All her work was done by him, and in return, she would be friend him, and sit with him at lunch. After 3 years of this, Vanessa really began to fall for Andrew, who was already head over heels in love with her. College came and went, and still they were together. Even know Andrew went off to Harvard, and Vanessa stayed at community college to get her education. They remained close friend. They graduated at the same time, and Andrew moved back home, where Vanessa and Andrew began dating. They only dated for a few months before Andrew got down on one knees. They were married shortly after.
On July 8th 1994, Vanessa gave birth to a very cute little baby girl, Vanessa was just 26 years old at the time. Life was good, Andrew got a job, and quickly climbed the corporate ladder. By the time Tara was just 6 years old, he was already the CEO, and living good. Vanessa had taken up a few modeling jobs, while running her own day care center. (That way she never had to spend a second away from her prestigious little girl). Yet she somehow managed to work part time as a OBGYN. So when by the time Tara reached middle school, they had already moved into a large home. By this time Tara had already begun to win a few medals in her gymnastics. Of course her mother made her do so. Tara hated the gymnastics, but she was forced. Her mother pushed her so hard into ‘loving’ it anyway. It was a part of her. They moved into a home with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, 20+ rooms, a movie theater in her home, among many game rooms, even a gym and a place Tara could practice her gymnastics. They even had 'help' like cooks and gardener and what not. Tara was already living the dream. Though she was never selfish, her father made sure of that. Tara was always taught the value of money, and that giving came before taking.
So when Tara was 10, her mother announced she was pregnant once again, and the family's live continued as normal, Tara was of course thrilled with the news, a little brother to love. For the whole nine months Tara talked about her little brother, she even helped ready a room for him, helped pick out clothing everything, only the best for her baby brother! Tara was just happy, especially when her pregnant mother came to pick her up from her various activities, such as cheerleader, soccer, art, music classes she was just a well rounded girl. Her mother Vanessa made sure her child grew to be the best that she could be. Though Tara never had fun at these ‘preppy’ activities, she had no choice but to participate. She hated to disappoint her father, so she’d stick it out the best she could. It did not take long for her to hate her life. She would let her anger build, but she held it in. She loved her parents and really did not want them to hate her.
So when her little brother was born, Tara was all too happy, only things began to change, and so did she. She was no longer the center of attention. Which was okay, Tara did not mind it so much. Her mother was no longer there to tell her what to wear and how to act, she was much too busy with the baby. So Tara began to explore a little by herself. So she began to do her own hair, but it was never perfect, and her mother would always send her to re-do it. Her father even tried to help, be he was never good with hair, he was a man, and he had a little man to rise (He could not waste him time on ‘women stuff’). It's not that they ignored her but they just gave her more space then she probably needed. So with this extra time, she was no longer able to make herself look perfect, no matter how hard she tried she never got it like her mother used to. So she developed her own style, which was a little..Messy. It just was not 'normal'. Well normal to Vanessa was preppy cheerleader kind of thing, High fashion, expensive clothing. So when Tara began to wear her hair in a different way, or being a little heavy on the makeup, or wearing more black then anything. Her parents began to worry. She was rebelling, and there was nothing her parents could do about it. The more they pushed her to be normal, the more extreme her look got. After just a year of this, Tara finally found her style. She did a total 360, flipped around in all direction, and she ended up 'gothic' which was her mother’s worse nightmare. But Tara at first did this just to rebel to make her mother mad, to prove a point. But the more she wore her hair the way she did, the more she dressed in black, the more she loved it. But still it was always the same thing from her mother. "Tara why don't you go put something normal on for a change." Tara was never pleased and would never change. One day Tara had had enough! She was done, and her mother and her got into one massive fight. Tara was 11, but boy did she piss her mother off.
It all started after the fight. Tara started to stay out a little later. She’d miss her newly instated curfew, Tara never cared. It progressed to sleeping over at friends homes, to spending a week in a hotel room (Complements of her mother’s stolen credit card). Her parents did not mind much, as long as she was safe right? After that it was not coming home. Soon enough she became a ‘run away’ and she did this often. She never was home for longer than a day or two at a time. She’d come home get what she needed then leave once again. Her parents would call the cops on her, and she’d end up staying in some juvenile detention center for a night or two. She’d be released back to her parents shortly after. No big deal, whatever. Tara did not mind it. It just made her harder, gave her more connections. Her father ended up giving Tara her own credit card, and apartment. Hoping that the distance would make Tara and her mother buddies again. But this was the very worst thing he could have done. Her neighbors started asking her too many questions. She was just too young to live by herself (Her father did check on her, but mainly by phone. He was much too busy to see her in person). So Tara not wanting to go home ended up stealing some chicks ID. They looked a lot alike, so it worked. Only real difference was the women in the picture had all red hair. But other than that, she’d pass (Tara had it memorized; she even introduced herself as Elizabeth Marie Starr). Tara was now an eighteen year old, finally legal. She could pass anyway. Tara developed rather early. She started going to night clubs, and after a few day’s she was hired as a bar tender. It did not take long for Tara to climb the social ladder. She was soon offered an even better job, at a strip club. Tara happily took it.
Once she began working at the strip club, she began to sell herself on the side. It got her more money. Money she could call her own. This was not her parent’s forgotten money; it was her hard earned cash. She soon could cut all ties with her parents. She could soon leave Las Vegas forever. She really started to enjoy herself. She loved the attention, and the tips alone were wonderful. She was just basking in the light. No one judged her, no one told her she had to change, and everyone loved her how she was. She no longer had to pretend she loved soccer, or cheerleading. She only had to please herself. So she was happy once again. She’d dance and sell herself, multiple times per day. It’s what she did, it’s what she loved. Seeing as she was ‘eighteen’ now, she did not have to go to school. Anyway this Elizabeth Starr chick was in college, so it made everything so much easier on Tara. It did not take too long for her to get caught. The second the police came for her, she broke down, and cried. But no mercy was given. She had run away one too many times, she's stolen someone’s identity, and she started sleeping with men in their 40's. It was sick, and low, according to the officer that was assigned to her case. This was a changing point in her life.
Even know she has always been a kind sweet person. Once her parents told the judge they did not want her back and she was out of control, Tara just flipped. She could not take it anymore. She was angry at the world, at her parents, at the people who told on her. Tara was angry at the world and what they had made her do. She was just angry now. She was still the little nice girl as before, it was just hidden by her anger, and blood lust. Once she was set away, she held onto the anger, kept it, let it boil up inside her because she knew where she was going was no kind place. People would not treat her right here. How it was described frighten her. She was playing with the big dogs now, and no one would save her. She'd need to protect herself. She'd need that anger to keep her from breaking down and dyeing. So the anger is now a front. The anger turned into bitchiness. This was going to save her. God she hoped it would save her. Tara had been here just about a month now. Each and every day she regrets what she’s done, and the people’s she hurt. But the anger still lives within her, keeping her safe. Though she misses her pretty little family, she’d never let anyone know. She’d have her own family soon enough.
