Another day, another trip to the hospital. It seemed that she was spending more and more time sitting in on the doctor's table than she was actually at the school. Why? Simple: the nurses that ran the pathetic infirmary Stanfield hosted were out of ideas on how to keep the girl's limbs all attached to her body.
No she hadn't succeeded in hacking off any major parts of herself...yet (key word there!), but apparently, even a few fingers were seen as unacceptable to the institution's medical staff. What? She had ten other ones to spare! It wasn't like losing one or two was going to kill her or anything...

Armin had already been missing the ring finger and pinky on her left hand when she first entered Stanfield, and after today's little run-in with the knife - hey, it was just lying there on the kitchen counter, all lonely like and she thought it'd be put to better use with yours truly than the cook - she was officially another pinky-short on her right hand. Oh well, at least she was somewhat symmetrical right? Sure it hurt, but at least that unsightly blemish was gone from sight!
All would have been fine, had her stupid roommate not decided to show up at that moment. The crazy bitch took one look at her, holding a bloody cleaver in one mutilated hand while cutting at the other, and proceeded to throw a screaming fit that drew the attention of everyone within a three mile radius. Before she had a chance to explain, they were packing her off to the hospital to see if they could reattach the finger.

So here the unfortunate sat, swinging her legs unhappily from the hard-backed chair the doctor had told her to occupy while waiting, and glaring at the wad of gauze that now covered practically her entire right arm. What an over reaction! It was just one stinkin' finger...no need to bring down the roof because of it. Well, seeing as she was stuck here for god-knows how long, she wanted some company. Fishing in her jeans pocket with her free hand, Armin drew out her cell-phone and began dialing the familiar number. He better be available, or she was seriously going to be annoyed.

"Hey, Nat! Um...if you're free right now - which I seriously hope you are - could you swing by the hospital real quick? They caught me again, so I'm pretty much being forced to stay here until they figure out a way to sew my hand back together...anyway, just come by alright? See ya soon!"

Nathan was in his dorm room with Mayumi who even though she is an emo, he had no problem with sleeping with her. But then his phone had gone of while they where in the middle of it so he grabbed his his phone and looked at the text message from Armin. Nathan let out a sigh as he looked at Mayumi. "I need to pop out for a while, my friend Armin is in hospital" He said as he got changed his orange boots, orange trousers, orange jacket and a blue top. He stuck his phone into his pocket as he exited the asylum and made his way to town as fast as possible.

He stopped in a shop as he bought some flowers and some chocolate then he made his way to the hospital. He walked to the reception "I am looking for Armin Genie Devaroux" Nathan said as he turned around and saw her sitting down so he walked over to her "You are such an idiot you know that Armin, you should be so glad that we are such good friends as I came here even though I was burried" Nathan said as he handed the flowers and some chocolate to her. "I bet you probably won't even kiss me even though you are in such big trouble the the doctors and with me so I reckon you should kiss me so then I won't be mad with you" Nathan said as he flirted with her slightly.

A few nurses bustled past her, pushing carts laden with medical goods, or jotting down notes on a clipboard while simultaneously managing to keep from colliding with anyone in front of them. Armin watched them go, crossing, then uncrossing her ankles, wishing that someone - ANYONE - would come along and relieve her of this boredom! If there was one thing she couldn't stand, it was to be stuck with absolutely nothing to do! Which was exactly what she was dealing with now. Ugh, if Nat didn't get here soon, she was gonna have to seek out some entertainment for herself, an activity that normally didn't end up making the doctor any happier with her...

She'd give him until twenty. "One Mississippi, Two Mississippi, Three Mississippi.... " the girl started to count under her breath. Finally, at fourteen, she spotted the familiar blond mop that was her friend's head. Oh goodness gracious, he couldn't possibly have worn THAT out in public could he have? Armin stared at the loud orange outfit in a mute sort of horror and amusement. Yeesh, talk about a flashy entrance! She had to laugh, a sound she tried to smother with her hand. Some times, she just didn't get the boy.

And then he was standing right in front of her. "Nat! You came!" she hopped up and practically tackled him in an affectionate hug. Well, part of her had known he'd probably show up, but the other half - the half she listened to more often than was good for her - had been whispering that maybe he didn't want to bother with her anymore. "Hmph, I am not an idiot! It's not my fault they freaked cuz of a finger." Her lower lip jutted out slightly, the way it did when she wanted it known she was not happy about something. Oh well, not much she could do.

"Aw, y'know you didn't have to bring these," she said as a thanks for the flowers and candy. The goofy smile wouldn't leave her face, even when he started up with his usual teasing (though her cheeks did turn a distinct shade of pink). "You are such a shameless flirt!" she scolded, not really mad. Looking around, she checked that they weren't being watched, then leaned up and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "There, that's the most you'll get out of me right now. Wait..." Here she paused, leaning in to sniff at him. "....you smell like a girl.....don't tell me-oh good lord Nat! If you were 'busy' you could've just said so!" Now the pink in her skin had flared up to red; he didn't have to come if he'd been in bed with someone.....
