- Schizophrenia: A classic case, she has a hard time grasping reality and filtering the facts from what her mind spins out on its own. She'll be off in her own little world, and talking to people that aren't really there, at the most random of times. But don't try to tell her it's only in her head or she'll freak on you.
- Psychosis: There's a voice in the back of her brain - or sometimes, it's nearer to the front as well - that's always chatting with her. And she hates it, because she thinks it belongs to someone she once knew; someone she now hates.
- Dissociative-identity disorder: At least three different people are living inside her body. There's Cero, the one who was there first and is at least tolerable; there's Cece (Mad-dog), the smart-ass, violent bitch who doesn't give a damn about anyone or anything, and was likely born out of Cero's frustration at not being understood by her family; then there's Nicoletta, the voice that only Cero can hear, who's the polar opposite of Cero, and who sometimes takes over.

* / POSITIVE TRAITS[/b]
- Creative: She's a right-brained thinker so to speak, and her 'madness' only lends to her crazy imagination. Her paintings are all of chaotic disorder, that in her mind - and some others - makes perfect sense. Designing things are her specialty, though you'll want to be specific with what you want, or she might go off on a tangent and mix her own eccentricities into your ideas.
- Flexible mind: Crazy she may be; stupid she most certainly is not. Cero is as intelligent as any other girl her age, it's just that she has a harder time accessing that knowledge and hanging on to it than do 'normal' teens. She's a good problem-solver, and enjoys the odd puzzle every now and then. A challenging mind-game is always welcomed.
- Adaptivity: With three people living in you, you've pretty much gotta learn to adjust to your experiences, and fast. There's rarely a situation which this child can't bend herself to fit into, and it takes quite a lot of effort to phase her.
- Thick-skinned: She's hard to dig at and get a reaction out of (a good/bad thing, depending). Insults, threats, derision; she's seen and felt it all before. So unless you bring up the fact that she's a psycho (which, let's face it, she can be) - in such a case, she will turn rather violent - then you're going to be hard pressed to get Cero to express emotion of any kind.
* / NEGATIVE TRAITS[/b]
- Bad 1st Impressions: She doesn't know how to socialize with people and tends to shun them in order to keep herself safe from harm. This makes her seem like a chilly girl who is antisocial and refuses the company of others because she feels she's superior to them (completely off from the truth). But she likes her solitude as well, and has made the mistake of making that known in the past, only affirming the belief that she's snooty. Being painfully shy and awkward at conversing doesn't seem to help her case either.
- Cece: The dark-side to Cero, she's the spawn of her host's unheard frustrations at being what she is. A silver-tonged liar and
a complete brat, she's only too eager to get into a physical fight with anyone who dares to approach her with the adjective 'crazy' plus synonyms. Anything and everything can set her off, so step carefully. she tends to have lighter eyes than Cero does, so if the girl's irises start taking on a hazel hue, that's your warning that the mad-dog is awake.
- Deranged: Being what she is, she's constantly plagued by scenes that don't really exist, and people who belong only to hallucinations. Some schizophrenics know there's something wrong with themselves; she falls into the larger group who don't understand what's happening and try to convince themselves as much as the people around them that what they see is real.
- Mild case of Androphobia: Cero seems to have a fear of men. It's not sure why, since there are no records of abuse by er father or any other male family member in the past; she just shies away from them. Something about them intimidates and scares her, and she doesn't like the feelings, so she naturally tries to avoid them as much as possible.

* / HISTORY[/b]
It is best to start at the beginning, quite literally.
Cero was born into your stereotypical, middle-class family, to a perfectly normal couple, and supposed to live a simple life (for the little girl back then exhibited none of the symptoms that would later land her in this institute). Unfortunately, fate seemed to have decided that she was not to exist so.
For Cero Josephine Nine was only the second daughter, even if she was the more healthy one; her older sister Nicoletta came into the world exactly two hours and fifteen minutes ahead of her. The latter baby was sickly, and even though both were premature, she showed the least signs of being able to survive past the first few months. Sure enough, after only two months, the newborn passed away, leaving Cero an only child.
Even though she'd never really had a chance to even get to know her twin, there is that strange phenomenon that seems to connect babies who were conceived from the same egg. People will say that their minds - even before they arr fully conscious of their world - are linked in a way that no one else could possibly share, and maybe it's true. At least, for the Nine girls it proved to be.
At only 6 years of age, the toddler's parents began to notice their daughter spacing out, and randomly start laughing, or speaking with the empty air which - she claimed - contained her 'best friend'. At 11, the signs were getting progressively more noticeable, and starting to turn a bit towards the negative end of the relationship. It was around then that Cero began to see the other presence as her long-deceased sister. By 13 she was completely unmanageable, throwing rages, getting into trouble at school, starting fights with invisible bodies.
By then, her parents had decided that enough was enough, and that to save what little there was left of their child, they would have to send her away to an academy that specialized in trouble-cases like her.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]
