Freddie would describe herself as an indifferent person, having no strong feeling on anyone or anything, but this is less than true. The fact is that she has an opinion on most everything, but she knows when to voice her opinions and when to keep her mouth shut. She is a very well moderated person. If she doesn’t give you a straight answer, you know she’s keeping something to herself. If she says maybe she doesn’t really mean maybe, she means she knows perfectly, but she isn’t going to admit to it. The same rule applies to I dunno and you tell me.
Generally unpredictable, years of substance abuse that she still can’t drag herself away from and really doesn’t want to anyway, have of course not left poor Alfie unaffected. She has a habit of sinking into her own thoughts, blanking out the world around her and just sitting for hours with her eyes on the floor. This fact known by most around her, she uses it to her advantage rather more than she actually slips into these moments, but its and easier and less offensive way of escaping a boring or difficult conversation.
Freddies sense of humour, best describes and cynical, subtle and really quite disturbing at times, is rarely picked up upon by her peers, and so it is not unusual to see her smirking at her own jokes, surrounded by people with blank faces who haven’t made the intricate links or noted the slight indications that Alfie relies upon. Despite this, and despite her over all peculiarity, Alfie is not unpopular within the school, and rather stays within her own almost cult like group of students.
Attention starved from a very young age, Alfreda is a virtual attention whore, be it good attention or bad. She loves to know that she is being talked about and goes out of her way to cause a stir, but in her own way, subtle and not obviously looking for the bad press she receives. She loves male attention best of all, loves to play with boys and twist them around her little finger, but her biggest thrill is finding a boy she can’t break. These are the boys that she loves to love, even when they decide they don’t love her anymore.
