It was late. Very late. But Quin didn't know what time it was. She never botherred to look as she silently padded through the dark corridors. Despite her small size she wasn't scared, for this girl was actually fourteen years old, though she believed herself to be only seven. When she'd been born, everything was perfect. But then when she was five, things took a turn for the worst. Then when she was seven, after what that man did to her, she changed. Inside. She wasn't the same Quin anymore. She wanted to cry and scream and hurt other people.
She wanted to make other people suffer to. Like she had suffered, and like Harley had suffered. Harley was her twin brother. Her precious twin brother who'd lost his legs when they were five. She'd killed him when they were ten. She'd killed him, and she'd meant to do it. She knew she did. She just didn't know why. The doctor's said it was because she was a girl. They said it was because she liked to hurt people. They told her she was a sadist. She told them she just wanted people to know what it was like. To know what it was like being her. People made her hurt, made her cry. But she couldn't hurt them. If she did, she'd loose her teddies.
She wanted them. She needed them. So she promised she'd be a good girl for most of the month, when she could help it. She promised she wouldn't hurt anybody. She knew she could do it as she clung tightly to her teddy, walking the dark corridors without a sound. There wasn't even an echo of her steps due to her feet being bare. So when she did hear the familiar echo of boots she pressed herself against a wall and stared in front of her, waiting for the guard to pass her in the darkness. Clearly she'd forgotten that she was wearing a white nightie, similar to the one she'd killed her family in. The guard of course saw the white of her clothes and approached with a frown.
"Is that you Quin?" the guard smirked as he looked down at her. She whimpered in response, pressing back against the wall more. When he touched her shoulder she screamed, only for him to quickly cover her mouth with one hand. "Shh, don't scream. I'm not going to hurt you." he cooed to her. Leaving the hand over her mouth her lowered his other hand to the hem of her nightie and began sliding it up. Tears of fear and anger glistened in Quin's eyes before something in her snapped. No, she wasn't going to let anyone else hurt her. The stuffed creature fell to the floor as she moved her hands and clawed that the man's arms.
The guard growled, the hand over her mouth shifting a little. Seeing her chance Quin opened her mouth and bit down hard on two fingers that were blocking her airways. With a curse the man drew his hand back and took a step back from her. "You little bitch!" he snarled, grabbing for her again. Quickly she ducked and grabbed her teddy. Instantly she tugged at some roughly sewn seams and pulled out a small penknife, something she'd managed to hide from the staff here. Cruelly she smirked, staring at her reflection in the blade for a second before she dived at the guard, lunging instantly for the main vein in his neck.
With percision, she hit it and drew the blade along with such force that blood splattered everywhere. She grinned maniacally and withdrew her blade. Silently she sat and watched the man die before she was suddenly pulled to her feet. She screamed as the penknife was snatched from her grasp. Wildly she kicked out before she was thoroughly restrained and put into a straight jacket. Still she screamed. She was angry. He'd deserved it. He was going to touch her. Just like that man. They were all the same. She continued to struggle in the white jacket, only stopping when she was placed down on the floor in solitary confinement.
Her eyes instantly widened as she sat there still as stone.

Annice was tidying up her office hastily. Nothing could be out of place in her world. Quickly, she put the papers in the proper stack, humming to herself as she did so. She was on call for any psychological emergencies today. Normally, she was able to use most of the day to organize her office and clean it until it sparkled brightly and smelled lemony. She shut her filing cabinet, sprinting to her closet. There was a rag (and a few other medical supplies) in there. She took it out, walking by her desk. The doctor opened the lower drawer, pulling out furniture polish. Within minutes, the smell in her room went from moderately clean to that of a citrus fruit. Annice looked at her office. Everything appeared to be clean and in its proper place. To the untrained and unfocused eye, one would think that it was perfect. Not Annice. Her obsessive compulsive behavior kicked in. “The windows aren’t clean enough,” she hissed, getting ready to get more cleaner out to make the glass shine.
Suddenly, her beeper went off. Apparently, there was something wrong with a young lady. She was being placed in solitary confinement for her to talk to her. Annice looked up at her windows. “We aren’t finished here,” she called out. Quickly, her gait got wider as she ran down the halls to her destination. A few guards were gathered outside of the door, peering in like the inhabitant was an animal. “Back it up, boys,” the doctor ordered. “Let me tell you what happened-,” the guard began.
The beautiful woman wouldn’t hear it. “Pardon me, but I don’t care what happened in your point of view. I’m here to take care of her, not you,” she explained, opening her hand for the key. “If I page you, I need a sedative,” she told them. The woman unlocked the door, stepping in sweetly. Her eyes fell on a young looking girl in a straight jacket. “Before I begin, I didn’t listen to a word they said. I’m more concerned about you,” Annice opened, sitting next to the little girl. “My name is Doctor Norwood, and I’m on call today. What’s your name, sweetheart?” Annice reached out her hand to graze the child’s hair back behind her ear.
“Now, I know it’s hard to open up to someone you don’t know, so let me start off by saying that everyone here wants the best for you. I want the best for you, and as long as I’m here, I won’t let anyone hurt you. I swear on my life,” she explained. This was something many people feared doing. Swearing on their life to a mentally ill person. It wasn’t that bad actually. At this point, Annice wanted to find out what had set the girl off.

Quin was scared. She was angry. She wanted to make them all hurt. All the men that were touching and moving her. The men that were angry with her. She'd given a just punishment. That man had deserved to die. He'd touched her and wanted to hurt her. She was still so scared. She was still a child. Her eyes brimmed with tears as she sat there, her arms hugged uncomfortably to her chest by the straight jacket. She whimpered, curling in on herself in her padded little cage.
When the door opened, her head shot up. She feared, for a moment, that it would be another man. But it wasn't. it was a beautiful woman. She frowned a little and tilted her head a little. The woman was beautiful - like her mama had been. She smiled softly at the sight of the woman before she straightened up. Her hair was a mess from the hacking she gave it the night she killed her family. Parts of it were longer than others and her hair hadn't properly been cut in four years.
She didn't much care about that. It was normal for her. She smiled softly as she tilted her head a little. Hearing what she said she nodded a little, pleased that Annice hadn't just listened to the men like people usually did. She nibbled nervously on her lip before slowly straightening her head. Feeling the hand in her hair she jerked a little, flinching from the touch. She bit down on her lip before shrugging a little. It wasn't often she spoke. She didn't really want to right now.
She shuffled back from the doctor a little as she listened to her, her eyes fixed upon the floor. Hearing what Annice said she made a sort of animalistic growling noise. No one wanted what was best for her. They all wanted to hurt her. That was why she had to hurt them first. She twitched a little, her oddly perfect teeth digging into her lips. "I'm Quin." she uttered softly before looking over her shoulder. "They... don't... no one does..." she mumbled.
